G7 meeting in canada's arctic

Is it just me, of is this just a disaster waiting to happen?

I mean, seriously? Random, unscreened people riding around on snowmobiles with high powered rifles on their backs?

I mean, I don't support today's governments, but are they really that dumb?

All you need is one Canadian nut with a gun and you have a major news story that they won't drop for months, and probably a few riots.

After all, the best Canadian Health Care involves going to the US for treatment. After all if it's not good enough for the Premier of NewFoundLand or whatever, then how could it be good for all the Canadian comrades?

Maybe after taking a good look at the failed experiment in Socialism called Canada, the G7 will smarten up and realize that free markets win the day every time.

That is the biggest load of junk I have ever heard. Yea sure socialized health care has its follies, but so does corporate-whore run pharmaceutical care. You can leave your "laissez-faire" economics at the door as those anti-regulation ideologies is what got us into this bloody recession in the first place. I suggest you do some research on un-backed market futures bubble to educate yourself, sir.

ON TOPIC: The arctic is a good idea. There can be no protesters. However, not sending in the Military is a bad idea IMO. Better have some CF-18's flying 'round the clock overhead.

It seems your only reply is to do some name calling. And the Premier still had to leave Canada to get heart surgery -- no reply to that? As for economics,. it was government spending and fraud (like forcing banks to make mortgages to minority homeowners who didn't quality) that caused the problem, not freemarkets. You should really do you own homework.

You have got to be kidding right? How are they going to support that logistically. by bush plane? And Canada's working CF-18 is needed elsewhere that week I'm sure.
