Intelligence Officials Warn Attempted Al Qaeda Attack Months Away

This is a complete load of crap, they are probably going to pin an attack on white al CIAda now to get complete control of American people for their security.

It might be a 40 year old white woman and 20 year old ginger college student linked to the attack.

That would be the final nail in the coffin for freedom in our country, they are already hinting at it in the article.

Lol ofcourse they all agree that an attempted terrorist attack is 'certain' to occur in the next 3-6 months on american soil because THEY, THE US MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX (backed by CFR, bush and rockefellers), ARE GOING TO CREATE ONE!!! Just like they created the fort hood shooting, trying to make us think that a fat 40 year old MD went ballistic turning into an unstoppable terrorist super-soldier. Why? Because Arabic looking people must be dehumanized! The american public, after all, were beginning to forget that Arabs are evil. And, it creates political distraction. And lets not forget, it gets them more funding and power with which to work.

I really do appreciate them giving us a heads up on this one. The real question is: who are they going to frame it on this time? By now they must be running low on authentic terrorist types that they could pin it on and still maintain the american publics suspension of disbelief. They probably are giving it a fair amount of thought after having unwittingly hired those uncircumcised indians to act as muslim extremist taliban forces in pakistan. (www.pakspectator.com...) I'm sure they felt rather embarrassed about that one.

This is nothing new, simply the pulse.

Seems to me like they're setting themselves up for something. Here in the UK a couple of weeks ago there we reports on how the defence budget was going to be severly cut leaving us open to terror attacks, then about a week later another news report said that they had changed the terror attack status to "severe" meaning an attack could be imminent. Also Gerald Celente a few months ago was calling 2010 "terror 2010" saying that he was predicting another attack. Makes you wonder.

I give it days, maybe weeks. They will never stop coming at us, because they know if liberty and freedom takes a hold of their people, it's over for them to dominate them. Life is short, wake up you people in the middle east, especially you women, freedom is meant for all man-kind, not domination.

All this tells me is the government wants to keep me scared. Nothing more than a fear tactic.

I think the intelligence and military community failed miserably at preventing 9/11. I think they will do EVERYTHING they can to cover their butts this time around. Meaning they don't want to be in a position of not warning the American people. Moreover, I think they've completely lost all control over the war on terror. Things are just spiraling out of control and alciada is getting stronger, with more recruits and let's put it frankly.......we are pissing off the entire world with our wars and foreign policy.

WWIII I hate to say it is on the horizon. And I think the military knows it. CIA knows it. Obama is coming to grips with it. What's causing all this? The economic situation in the US. I think the US government with all their bailouts is reaching a breaking point. A point where all they can do now is throw their hands up and say that's all we can do. And actually probably relish the idea of a war breaking which would allow them to deal with the looming financial/econoimc catastrophe on our doorstep. I think this whole federal debt/deficit thing is really the match being thrown on the fire so to speak. Our country cannot continue down the road we are on with our huge spending and government debt. It's impossible. And our government has no other option but war. It sounds evil and it is.

I don;t know if this has been said yet, but I live in Boston and they just ok'd Natural gas from Yemen to ship into Boston Port. They will not off shore, but right in port.

I'm with you on this: they want/need what remains of private weatlth. Be it in retirement accounts or in land-holdings and they need a "reason" to continue to steal from us all.
They have totally muscked-it all up for us financially and it's probably beyond repair.
Desperation causes desperate actions.
I am just truly starting to see however that the American people are NOT as "dumb" as they believe and I do think there will come a tipping point before the plans are carried out.

I started to reply to this comment similarly; however, after some consideration, I have decided that Detroit would be the prime target for a "false flag" attack. Unemployment through the roof and their economy in the crapper (even before the economic recession).

Otherwise, I would imagine (in a non-false flag scenario) that a terrorist would hit New York, L.A., Houston, El Paso.....somewhere close to the border.

I don't get how this makes any sense... They didn't tell us 9/11 was gonna happen but now there telling us Al Qaeda is planning on attacking us again, not days or weeks away, but MONTHS... This all seems like BS to me. Terrorism is a joke

I hate to say it but I agree with this. There is just too much going on right now with our failing economy, Amadinajad making an announcement this month that will be a blow to global powers, Obama building up missile defense around the Middle East, Russia selling missile defense to Libya, China angry with US for our weapons sell to Tawain, and now this certainty for a terrorist attack.
I believe that it might very well be a false flag attack that will be linked back to Iran to get World support for going into Iran. This is only one possibility. What is really going to happen is anybody's guess at this point. One thing is for sure, something is brewing on the horizon....

We are not being warned about a dirty bomb or numerous attacks on civilian infrastructure, the "lone wolf" scenario is in once.

And individual, belief in the Al Qaeda doctrine, acting alone. No major planning or acquiring of materials. Just one individual.

so, let's see, the DHS announces an attempted attack is certain in the next 3 to 6 months.

The current alert level is yellow, or elevated and it is at orange, or high for flights.

NYC is at the same orange, or high, level since the first days the alert rainbow was implemented.

Red would be severe. Red would mean an attack is imminent.

Certain means imminent.

The code is the same as it always is. Nothing has changed and, yet, according to the folks who set the level, an attepted attack, which is an attack prior to being thwarted, is certain or imminent.

That's like saying you aren't pulling the fire alarm because the smoke and glowing embers aren't a fire yet and you will pull the alarm once the flames eat the building.

Most people understand this is BS, but the rest, you all under estimate your enemies, you think they are so bad at what they do so your army knows every step they take.
You need to ask yourself how hard it would be to make damage on US soil? If X is willing to commit suicide in Irak killing 5-20 people why not in the US? Why does it not happen? Any church, or subway or bus station or train or sport stadium would be a good and quite easy target.
You need to ask yourself: when is this madness going to stop?

I read this earlier and it just pissed me off.

It should say "A staged event happening for further control and government manipulation is planned". It's the same type of thing and if our lovely protective trustful government is telling us about it all it's going to do is raise fear levels to further allow them to use our fears against us.

If a terrorist attack is soon approaching it's only because they are going to create it or will allow it to happen for much more unapparent reasons...

Consider this a warning for the next step towards NWO. You know, hype the fear and threat since there are sleeper cells all over the place. My dad, my co-worker, my friends all sleeper cells just waiting to blow something up right!?

Fear is a powerful tool if used correctly.

NO disrespect intended, but I suspect that there are many who might state that:

a) ...anyone who actually thinks that 9/11 was the beginning of terrorists attacks on U.S. soil is living in a candy coated world;

as well as some who contend that:

b) ... anyone who actually thinks that 9/11 was a foreign terrorists attacks on U.S. soil is living in a candy coated world.....

But then, the discussion of the matter is why we are here.

The bottom line is, as long as we have people who believe that 'terrorism' serves a purpose (whatever THAT may be) there will be incidents ANYWHERE. And given that the purpose is open to interpretation, even if there weren't 'terrorist' attacks, we would still be treated to the fear of the possibility.

My main concern is that the possibility becomes the justification for those desperate for an excuse to legitimize their actions.
