Could this be the result of your first hand experiences? If so maybe you should move

Are you suggesting the individual move to or from? I found your reply to be confusing and figured I'd run it by you.

I think the post indicated that Iran (Islam) thinks the West is a bunch of Jerry Springer druggies wearing thongs in the street and watching tv that is full of lust and we all participate and are vile.
At least one poster on this thread thinks we are all ignorant.
Anyway, this propaganda just fuels the Iranian government to conquer and change our evil ways.
We are headed for a showdown and of course there will be more propaganda about how evil the West is without any real knowledge.

first of all i want to apologize if what im doing right now is being off topic, but i had to clarify things here.

and to JJay55,now we are talking , Laylat al-Qadr now i know what your talking about, and yes its only in the last ten days of Ramadan, actually its one of the last ten days and no muslim knows which day it is,and the first verse of the quran that was given to the prophet, was on that night, and it is mentioned in the quran too:

[97][1] Verily! We have sent it (this Qur'ân) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree)
[2] And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is?
[3] The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshiping Allâh in that night is better than worshiping Him a thousand months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months).
[4] Therein descend the angels and the Rûh (Jibrîl (Gabriel)) by Allâh's Permission with all Decrees,
[5] (All that night), there is Peace (and Goodness from Allâh to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn.

i hope that answers your question

and i do apologize again if i was off topic

Why would they bomb Israel right now? Maybe they will wait until February 11th. But thank you for confirming their plan.

Do you mean "Intelligence". American intelligence has never confirmed a nuke. It has confirmed various programs intended to acquire a nuke but no finished nuke. If there was a nuke Obama would ride it all the way to the finish line to get whatever he wants out of congress. The neo-cons would be unleashing organismic screams about how it proves all they were right. Considering this announcement is made every year and nothing happens, I think most of you are making a mountain out of a molehill.

How do you know that US intelligence hasn't confirmed a nuke? Maybe you mean that the MSM hasn't confirmed from a US intelligence source that they have information as such?
Thanks for coming here to tell us this is a molehill, I hope you are right. We sure wasted alot of money moving all those military to the Gulf, we should have called you first.
I wish you peace.

Giraldi: US Intel Found Iran Nuke Document Was Forged

U.S. intelligence has concluded that the document published recently by the Times of London, which purportedly describes an Iranian plan to do experiments on what the newspaper described as a "neutron initiator" for an atomic weapon, is a fabrication, according to a former Central Intelligence Agency official. Philip Giraldi, who was a CIA counterterrorism official from 1976 to 1992, told IPS that intelligence sources say that the United States had nothing to do with forging the document, and that Israel is the primary suspect. The sources do not rule out a British role in the fabrication, however.

I'm going to bet nothing is going to happen, there will just be some announcement about the celebration, just like every other year.

I mean it's like saying on Independence Day we decide to nuke someone because we can... and people are bringing up ET disclosure? Can there be any date where there is some sort of speech/announcement that people wont try and claim disclosure will happen? I know everyone is sick and tired of getting their hopes up, so why bother? If it comes, let it be a surprise, and once again we all know the truth already - not the whole truth, but enough to have fact based opinions in some areas.

So when Feb. 11th comes and goes, Friday the 12th will come next

No apology necessary. You are right on topic. Night of power is an un-dated series of 10 days in which supernatural power is gained from the angels and the blessing of Allah (translated for the Westerners who are reading).

Amadinejad has just announced a dated 10 day period equal to what will conclude in the Night of Power. So maybe we can translate that the appearance of dawn will be something that Amadinejad has wished for... like the destruction of Israel?

Of course if Amadinejad makes the mistake of unleashing a nuke in the region the fallout would reach places like the UAE, and others so I would be concerned if that was my homeland. Unless the powers have decided to martyr a certain amount of their population in order for bigger plans of reforming the Caliphate. What better way to have devoted people and less protests against the Iranian government, eh?

Thank you for the discussion Dr UAE.

Well if those are his first hand experiences and many here on ATS know that the vast majority of the issues he pointed out occur in the inner cities. [I'm not saying limited to] but mostly. He should move to some of the many locations in the US where that's not an issue.

Anti-war.com is kooky Pat Robertson. He blabs his mouth when he shouldn't then the MSM has to cover up for him. He's a boob.
No one knows what the US intel is on Iran's nukes, many analysts have already said that they are armed.

I tend to agree with you highlyoriginal. This article is from Reuters - Dec 5, 2007 I believe. Notice how the oil prices follow the rhetoric? Could be that we are all being played like fiddles. The whole saga with the Iranian nuclear program and the U.S. being at it's last straw has gone on for quite a while. Soon enough they will milk this cow dry and then what?

"Can't you be accused of hyping this threat?" Bush was asked at a news conference a day after his administration released a new National Intelligence Estimate concluding that Iran halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003. "I was made aware of the NIE last week," Bush replied. But it was his next remark that drew attention from Democrats, the news media and intelligence experts: "In August, I think it was (U.S. intelligence chief) Mike McConnell came in and said, 'We have some new information.' He didn't tell me what the information was." Increasingly strident U.S. rhetoric over Iran's nuclear program reached a peak on October 17 when Bush warned that a nuclear-armed Iran could lead to World War Three. A day later, Vice President Dick Cheney announced his own warning of "serious consequences" for Iran if it refused to abandon its nuclear activities. The comments stirred fears of a possible U.S. military confrontation with Iran and helped send world oil prices soaring toward the $100 a barrel mark.

Lame. You are getting details days after they actually happen and reported by MSM. And then the details are simply from writers.
I would suggest some reliable sources but.... nah.... not worth it.

Untrue. Check his bank statements and who antiwar lists as supporters.
Antiwar also has a hitlist of who they don't like.
But back to the topic...
Iran and Feb 11th threat. Is it real?

This is why I mentioned Quds Day (October). It was planned then but Iran found itself unprepared. Means there is serious leaks in intelligence. Hopefully those gaps have been closed. Nevertheless, the plan is still on and Iran will use WMD, it's just a matter of time.
With Amadinejads declaration of the 10 days Night of Power it seems like this one might be legit.
