Every day I see more and more threads coming out promising that disclosure is just around the corner. Yet disclosure never comes. And at the rate things are going, disclosure might not happen anywhere within our lifetimes. Let's face it, governments simply have one thing on their minds, and that is to make a profit. If they ARE hiding something, what will they gain from telling the public. If anything, they are making a bigger profit by keeping the information hidden. Which brings me to the point of making this thread.

If you want disclosure, demand it. Simple as that. Make your voices heard. Get your spotlight in the public's eye. And let people know that you are serious. Why don't all the people who want disclosure start a revolution for the truth. Instead of sitting behind a computer monitor and waiting for others to get the truth to you, why don't you go out there and GO to the truth. ATS currently has 183,737 members, and that number is growing daily. These are you supporters. These are the people who want answers. Go to the biggest government buildings across the world and protest. Let them know that we want the truth. I mean come on, what are they going to do, kill us all?

Or, we can sit behind our monitors scavenging the interwebs for any information that we can get and feel a slight feeling of accomplishment that we are nearing disclosure. Like that's going to do anything. We need to fight for what we believe. Either do nothing, or do something. The choice is yours.
(And I know this is another disclosure thread, so I appologize.)

i posted on 2 seperate threads a few months ago along the lines you are talking. asking why the people who run the various ufo sites across the world didnt get in contact with each other and organise that at a specific time, any time, but the same time, all across the world in pre determined locations, major cities, national parks and the like and invite all the people who have an intrest in disclosure to come along and send a global message to any possible galactic visitor that may be watching our planet that we are ready for thier presence to be revealed and we have had enough of sitting around waiting to be spoon fed more lies and spin by governments and media worlwide who when the time comes will manipulate such a situation to their or a select fews benefit.

i would not expect e.t's to land and have a cup of tea with us but a mass sighting or even one sighting in one location anywhere in the world would put this issue to bed and force tptb to address the subject with the respect it deserves.

the fact that neither of my posts received one reply i think speaks volumes. most people would, it would seem rather just sit at home on the internet and look for someone else to force the issue. or be fooled into thinking that because thers an increase in internet traffic on the subject and on the say so of a couple of guys who have increasingly less credibility amongst even the ufo community let alone the white house or wherever that this will somehow back tptb into a corner and they will have to reveal all.

my point was that even if e.t didnt show up, the exposure of possibly millions of people going out in unison worldwide to welcome such visitors would force the media and governments of the world to treat such a subject with the respect it deserves.

i personally think it would be worth a shot and i stated in my previous posts that although im not the person to organise such a co ordinated event i would definetly be in attendance and who knows we might just force the change our planet needs. what do we have to lose ?

Why don't people do anything? Because that requires work—it's much easier to keep ranting about it on online, where you can remain comfortable and safe, eating your pizza while you describe to others your theory on the grand scheme of Governmental conspiracies to keep alien visitation under wraps.

And don't forget those people that truly, truly believe they know the truth. If they actually got a response from the Government and it wasn't the one they wanted to hear—if it didn't confirm all their own theories and beliefs—many of them would be disappointed and would shatter the fantasy.

i have just given you my first star and flag. the lack of activity on this thread tells a story im afraid. most people just want spoon fed and dont realise that any disclosure will most likely have to be forced to happen and sitting on your computer will never make it happen.

i applaud you for your efforts

In all honesty, government disclosure of extraterrestrial life wont do a damned thing. Skeptics will still be skeptical and want proof, and "believers" already knew in the first place. I wish people would just forget about "disclosure" and just believe what they want to believe. Though, you do have those types that want disclosure because it will make them "right about the whole thing" and they'll feel "cool" because they've been "saying it all along"... You know who you are...

I wish those people would take the time and think about the irony of wanting the Government to tell them the 'truth.' The same Government that, according to them is involved in a world wide scale cover-up t hat involves active deception and even assassinations. If you truly believe that, why would they tell you the truth? Why wouldn't the so called disclosure be a continuing deception?

This is actually a pretty good idea. If a regular guy like me were to try to organize such an event, many members here would probably not take it too seriously. But if the admin of the site were to organize the event, things would be very different.

All the other competitive sites need to be persuaded to do the same. With all our combined members, we shoud be able to get our point across. People tend to think that ufo believers are all rednecks with tin foil hats. But when they see that most of these people come from all different walks of life, perhaps the negative stereotypes will start to go away, and even if we don't achieve anything, atleast that will be a step up. Especially when they see that some of the believers work in very respectable positions such as poliecemen, lawyers, doctors, scientists, etc.

But me talking away won't do much. If we want to come together as one voice, we need to start working on a meet up date now. Not tommorrow. Not next year. But NOW. If the admin of this site agrees to this, I would gladly talk to the admins from the other competetive sites and see what they have to say. So all in favor of doing something instead of just sitting by waiting for the "truth" to be fed to us?

It never was up to people or governments...
...it is being restrained...
...and it will remain that way until the appointed time.

Paul said, "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way." 2 Thessalonians 2:7

You really don't want the restrainer to be out of the way...
...you who desire Disclosure expect great things...
...but Disclosure won't be 'pretty'.

I write a lot of articles on the subject, and recommend that activists make videos for YouTube and other video sites. Hitting streets with signs and protests are alright, but nothing hits like the web.

Problem with the web is that while the internet is the best place to reach people, most people don't take anything posted on the web too seriously. There are lots of videos on Youtube about disclosure and ufos, and while they captures people's attention for a short time, that is all they do. Nothing leaves a bigger impact than a good ol' fashion gathering of the masses. If people come together and unite for a common goal, others will see that they are serious and maybe even join them.

Still waiting for member's replies as to whether or not they'd want to carry this plan out. Though at the moment it's looking like it's never going to happen.

The point you are making is universal, we all 'know' what we know. Belief is a strong conviction that you are right in opinion despite lack of evidence.

The thing is, what if all along there were no such thing as aliens and they just showed you a glimpse and denied it to GET you to believe?

As soon as you have a belief in something you become dangerous, because you will act and react according to this belief. You can be easily manipulated by someone reinforcing/trampling your belief, and coerced to a direction they want.

Skepticism is the only healthy response. You should obviously be skeptical in this situation because they do a 180! You cant just accept disclosure as fact because it agrees with what you say. You have to look at whos saying it and what there is to be gained from making people believe it!

man, I really dont want disclosure, I want an opportunity to create a thread that shows me predicting disclosure ... really, I already booked December 2010 for me ... so

but really, I think disclosure will never happen, u just need to use your brain, they didnt announce life in mars or in the moon, or even in another planet, so, its impossible to announce that they already had ET in their bunkers or whatever ... disclosure will happen if the economy needs it, but it will be a PROCESS, it wont be a fact
