I believe she is mistaken as there are many abandoned buildings in that town and it seems like it would be easy to get confused.
That being said, if she is correct, then I will admit that is definitely a freaky photograph although I still wouldn't be scared to venture into the
building (well, scared of ghosts at least - there is always the danger of a condemned building collapsing or failing in other ways to trap you or
injure you.) Perhaps I would be singing a different tune when I actually got there, but I've been in an enormous abandoned sanitarium before and the
only thing that made me uneasy was the fact that bums/drug addicts frequent the place.
Like I said though, it has such an overbearing likeness to plywood that I have a very hard time believing otherwise.

I admit that we don't know the true nature of existence/reality so what you say cannot be ruled out as a possibility. I also would propose that it is
possible the phenomenon you have experienced is possibly explainable through known physics.
In the end I really can't judge because I've never experienced such things but my skepticism is backed by an urge to believe...if that makes sense.
