I can't read any or the numbers on the stickers - that's pretty much the only way to tell (you can't tell by simply counting the chips)

You can simply put a part number into google and 9/10 time you get full specs.

Or you could post it here and someone can do it for you.

Or of course you can install it and see how much more RAM your system reads!

Put the serial number and Manufacturer name in Google and you will get an answer.

Looks like pc133 fitting from that serial, that's an older type, your system could use DDR or DDR2 there are others as well

Yeah it would be older and my machine is new, I have some spare bits around and want to give a friend some extra RAM... not sure if this will fit theirs until I take the PC apart....

Googling I think it may just be 64mb... but Im not sure... pointless if it is. :]

Hang on... where it says 4V64 on the codepart... 4*64 is 256... so would that be right?

Don't know - but 64MB sounded right, or it would say 256

So far as checking your computer specs win audit looks good link - just install it on the machine in question

edit - even better it is a small executable that can be run of a USB stick
