2012 - What you didn't know but now will

Disinformation, war on terror, war on drugs, profiteering economic hitmen, end of times, etc.. What do they all have in common? It's all related to 2012 and what the elite are keeping from you in order to save their own butts.

Few New Yorkers have seen the aurora this far south but their fascination is short-lived. Within a few seconds, electric bulbs dim and flicker, then become unusually bright for a fleeting moment. Then all the lights in the state go out. Within 90 seconds, the entire eastern half of the US is without power.

A year later and millions of Americans are dead and the nation's infrastructure lies in tatters. The World Bank declares America a developing nation. Europe, Scandinavia, China and Japan are also struggling to recover from the same fateful event - a violent storm, 150 million kilometres away on the surface of the sun.

It sounds ridiculous. Surely the sun couldn't create so profound a disaster on Earth. Yet an extraordinary report funded by NASA and issued by the US National Academy of Sciences (NAS) in January this year claims it could do just that.

Over the last few decades, western civilisations have busily sown the seeds of their own destruction. Our modern way of life, with its reliance on technology, has unwittingly exposed us to an extraordinary danger: plasma balls spewed from the surface of the sun could wipe out our power grids, with catastrophic consequences.

The projections of just how catastrophic make chilling reading. "We're moving closer and closer to the edge of a possible disaster," says Daniel Baker, a space weather expert based at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and chair of the NAS committee responsible for the report.

It is hard to conceive of the sun wiping out a large amount of our hard-earned progress. Nevertheless, it is possible. The surface of the sun is a roiling mass of plasma - charged high-energy particles - some of which escape the surface and travel through space as the solar wind. From time to time, that wind carries a billion-tonne glob of plasma, a fireball known as a coronal mass ejection (see "When hell comes to Earth"). If one should hit the Earth's magnetic shield, the result could be truly devastating.

Even this report is a watered down version of the true possible horror to come. 1200 degree surface temps, shortage of water, all vegetation destroyed, etc.. The bottom line is the elite are securing locations and technologies to help them survive along with those they feel are "worthy" of invitation. It's not meant to be a sinister plot of global takeover, but rather people joining together in fear to do whatever they can to save themselves. Many of us would do the same in similar situations.

The mass purchasing of decommissioned missile sights and various undergound bunkers have been taking place for centuries. They're being converted to luxurious condominiums underground as shelters for the 2012 event. They are self contained systems with hydroponic gardens, water supply for 6 years, and even tunnels which connect other bunkers in a giant underground network.

Lets say for just a moment that its true...that these so called elites are rounding up scientists, engineers, programmers, generally healthy breeders, etc etc etc to protect them from the end times cataclysm and keeping quiet to the rest of the world....

so what?

its not like being informed will help you survive...do you have the millions upon millions to create your own personal vault for you and your family/friends/their familys/their friends/the friends familys, etc..? No...so what would happen is mass chaos for years on end that would potentially harm if not destroy the chances for the ones that were rounded up by the "elites"...dooming all equally...end game, no more humanity because someone spoke and now everyone dies.

If...big if here...the world will end in 2012, or 2020, or whenever...and we have a hope of saving a few people and plants to move on...then if anything, we should all help to ensure that the ark will contain only the best and brightest of our world that can also make many healthy babies...only the truely exceptional...the rest of us schmucks...enjoy the last few years of life (could get hit by a bus tomorrow anyhow, so who cares what may happen).

If your truely worried about something happening...get together with like minded people with money...and start digging...there is nothing saying you cant make your own underground bunker...I suggest using fallout 3 as a model for vault dwelling comforts.

There is Fallout3? 1 and 2 were best games non-multiplayer games I played back in my gaming period.

On topic: are there geological traces of such cataclysmic events? Should I believe in article which implicitly place Scandinavia out of Europe?

I am pretty sure with 1200 degree surface temps there would be a shortage of water and vegetation... It's a bit silly to mention the second two after the first...

I find it very interesting that people keep coming up with all this "Doom from the Sun" garbage when the Sun has been virtually void of Sunspots since early 2008.

There are now only two regions with any activity at all and the prediction for Solar activity is "Low to very Low"

I sincerely doubt that any 2012 disaster is going to come from the Sun.

If this planet burns by the sun , then i wanna go with it , talk about depression ,i wouldnt wanna go underground ,(bases citys etc) ,The beautiful world is up here , this is my planet , i love fresh air and outdoors ,seawater and fresh water , . The population that lives underground right now (which im sure there is) , have made the decision ,for whateva reason im sure .BUT Look out ,i have the captains going down with the ship mentality !!

A red flag that this could possibly be true is this:

These guys know there will be a natural or a man made global calamity to take place. They have stored their seed for the future but would not give us a warning of what is to come.

Calling out specious arguments and abject nonsense is, by definition, not posting off-topic. Considering I was discussing, and discussing only, the topic at hand I can't imagine why my post was removed.

Again, 2012 will be just a year, like every other year. People who say 2012 is going to be different, are either lying, confused, ignorant, or a mixture of all three. Those selling books and trinkets are usually all three.

This message was my gateway to conspiracy "theories". Especially connection between Monsanto and unmodified seeds. Corporations have no other responsibility than theirs perpetual grow. Monsanto is IMO sure, that it will destroy natural gene base of crops (look at Mexico and corn) and that is why they do "iron" reserve. Natural disasters may come, but man made disasters are here know.

People ask yourself why the richest 1% of the worlds population have been hoarding wealth at an increased pace for the last 30 years.

THey have been accumulating money, influenece and power so that they can survive the catastrophe.

The last 30 years has been like a giant end times party for the rich who control the worlds corporations. They know it's all gonna go up in flames so they are living it up while they prepare thier underground hideouts.

Please explain Warren Buffet and Bill Gates, then. They're rather rich (to put it lightly), and they've both given away most of their money to helping poor people.

Came across this video not sure why it's labelled D.U.M.B. DEEP UNDERGROUND MILITARY BASES.

I don't buy into this guys theory that the central bank is run by the catholic church, but it is a good video none the less.
