The Israeli govt wants to have settlements but when some soilder protests with a sign that he is pro-settlement then he is dismissed. I see how this soldier violated military orders by saying that he would refuse to obey orders to evacuate Jewish settlements, but there were others who protested.

These Jewsih settlements are not recognized by Israel's law or by international law.

An Israeli soldier has been dismissed from the military for 'grave' misconduct.

The soldier held a sign at his swearing -in ceremony saying his battalion would refuse orders to evacuate Jewish settlement outposts in the West Bank.

This soldier raised a sign with a political message and, in so doing, violated military orders - Col Gadi Agmon IDF
