Gay/lesbians/bisexual people have a screw loose in their head. Whether the cause was drugs, bad parenting, the symbolism of sex in advertising, or being born with the psychological disorder... They are still psychologically disturbed.

I find it disturbing that this disorder is actually considered normal these days. Do not people see what this will do? This facilitates detachment from the other sex, which will ultimately lead to lack of understanding, a failure to communicate and then conflict. To me, it is already apparent... Divorce rates, sexism, and sexual pride are just absolutely maddening now, and nobody seems to want to do anything about all of this, nor, find the culprit. I'll tell you what the culprit is.

It's actually four things: 1. lack of religion, 2. the gay/ lesbian movement 3. right's movements 4. Marxism . I tend to want to think 1,2,3 are all tied into 4, but I don't have enough evidence to say so yet. Although the degree to which the populace has degraded into the years, seems to be an outstanding indicator to me that Marxism is rearing its ugly head in the west.

I'll have to go with the "born with it" answer. I'm bi. I was attracted to females actually from a very young age; male a little later. When I grew up, there was basically nothing sexual going on on television; I wasn't exposed to any sexuality in my home - my parents were much older and hid very well anything that did go on; I was never molested; nothing. It just was. That's it.

I used to worry about the "abomination before God thing" but I've come to realize that people put very human attributes upon God. I just don't see a totally loving God hating or being jealous or vengeful. I think something went awry somewhere in the teachings; a heavy human hand involved in writing the bible. It used to even frighten me to question these thoughts. God IS love.

Peace

I applaud your honesty and openness.

I now have a followup question - What IS a homosexual, in your eyes? Is it someone who actually practices the acts, or is it someone who desires to?

Are Catholic priests (assuming chastity) asexual because they aren't sexually active, or are they hetero/homosexual but not practicing?

What made me heterosexual? A very good question, here is the answer.
I accepted Jesus as my Saviour and turned my life over to Him.

Not to be facetious, but does that mean before you accepted Jesus you were gay or bisexual? (You were born that way, but religion changed you?) Does that also mean that since you accepted Jesus that you are suppressing your sexual orientation?

If you have to accept Jesus to have the 'right' sexuality, then what about those that don't accept Jesus, or those who do it later in life? Is everyone born gay and bisexual until they are saved?

I just don't understand this line of thinking.

Interesting commentary. I'm going to suggest the opposite...that it is serious homophobia that is a psychological condition.

There must be some kind of pathology attached to that strong a commitment to what goes on in other people's pants.

Life's too short to get your knickers in a knot about who's doing what to who.

If that's the case how do you explain some Greeks and Romans being gay/lesbian/bisexual?? Marxism? lol

If it's lack of religion then why are some religious people gay? Lack of what religion anyway? Your religion?

If you ask me, you're the one that may be classed as psychologically disturbed if you think homosexuality is a recent thing and might be caused by drugs or bad parenting. That's laughable!

Actually, there exists a psychological theory that states, in short, that people can develop an aversion against something they deep inside realize they themselves are. Quite interesting I must say.

Which is what homophobia really is. Not being scared of gay people, but actually being scared that you yourself is gay.

It's quite funny when we get into these discussions and most heteros anounce that they are not homophobic because they aren't afraid of gay people. They need to learn the actual meaning of homophobia.

homosexualism is not a desiese is a genetic mutation ...

if you round up all gey people (lets assume its possible) and cut them off main population then still there would be born new homosexual people.

i have nothing against them i just kindly ask them to not jump eachother in public

beacose while looking at 2 women is kinda cool then 2 man can creep me out

To add to main topic - i belive that condeming these people is like racism or religion forcing on other humans ..

^ these are the things we should be worry about .. not gay people !

You think its just people...

Wake up!

Gay Animals

Homosexual behavior is widespread amongst social birds and mammals, particularly the sea mammals and the primates.

Even if it is off wikipedia there is still enough evidence across the net, this is the site which I happened to stumble across first!

I am heartened by the OP's desire to learn more about others who are different from her. Too few christians take the time to ask others about themselves and spend their time telling others how they SHOULD live.

As for it being something in the water? Why is that so crazy? It has been PROVEN that there are many pharmaceuticals in our drinking water. Who knows what changes that is making in people.

In answer to the OP's question I don;t think there are MORE homosexuals than at any other time, I think society has finally come to accept it openly and more people are being honest about is all. As for WHY I too believe people are either born that way or not. This is not a lifestyle CHOICE for them.

Good for you mamabeth! I knew you would catch flak just for asking but IMO there is no such thing as a stupid question. A true desire to learn should never be criticized.

I even know of a homosexual necrophilia case in the animal kingdom...

Necrophilia among ducks ruffles research feathers

But bringing up that subject would be taking it way off topic, so i leave at that!!
