Does anybody know of anything in the Northern Virginia/DC Metro area? My wife and I moved here a few years ago, but have not had the chance to find anything...

i know this is an old thread but i would like to resurrect it i live in bluff city tn less than a mile from bristol motor speedway n there have been reports of sightings of civil war soldiers, big cats, n even a beast in boone lake i personally saw wat i thought was a large cat a few years back while camping in the mountains it was climbing up a tree n appeared to be a large black cat about 4.5 to 5 feet in length albeit was very dark only light coming from the moon but regardless it was very unnerving

I'm in Greene County Tennessee right on the border of NC. I havent heard many stories, but Ive heard a pack of coyotes running thru our woods and back yard... also I have heard really strange shuffling noises followed by snapping tree limbs out back accompanied by a gurgled type of scream that sent me running for my car at 5:30 in the morning. It was more than likely a raccoon falling out of a tree but in the dark corner of my mind I knew it was bigfoot looking for breakfast

OH! We have found a total of 4 headless or cut in half squirrels in the past 3 months. Ive seen animals that have been chewed on by predators but these squirrels looked like some one had cleanly cut them with a knife. Also there was no blood on the fur nor inside the body... kind of like they had just bled out clean.... very weird and creepy. Has anybody else ever heard of something like this?

I'm from Hawkins county, Surgoinsville/Rogersville area. I'm curious about the bigfoot sightings in the Phipps bend area. What have you heard?
