Who likes George Noory more than Art Bell?

I think the quality of the show has degraded noticeably in the last year, at least with George Noory. He feels the need now to cut people off without finishing what they have to say, annoyingly tries to complete peoples sentence and put words into his guest's mouths. I'm hoping that Noory gets lowered down on the slot list or allow Wells and Knapp more air time.

I'm going to say George Noory is starting to sound an awful lot like how Art did (style wise). But Art was more into believing people rather than question them and George seems to question things more. Which is a good thing. Less bias in my opinion. but he then hypes up things a bit. the people who call up the show can be real annoying. But it's good they let just about everyone phone in. I've never tried. Was curious how hard it is to get through. I'm sure they have a screener who answers, asks what your question is about and makes sure you're not going to yell obscenities or something onto the air. but I rarely listen to the show anymore. Maybe it does happen a lot. I tuned in a few weeks ago and thought it was Art until I realized it was George. their voices sound a little bit alike.

Ian Punnett is my favorite C2C guest-host. Too bad about the tinitis thing; hopefully he'll recover soon. George Knapp is okay. Mr. Noory is a bit overly credulous for my taste, allowing callers/guests to go on and on uncritically on points that defy credulity, and willing to do live reads for some borderline-spurious products and services.

The other guy; the "puker" (radio-speak for a deep-voice announcer; I forget his name) always opts for the darkest, most paranoid-conspiratorial tone for any breaking news event, in an almost knee-jerk fashion. Also he tends to employ an annoying, long-winded, rambling ramp-up to most questions he asks.

All that said, its still the most entertaining thing on the dial when you're working late at night if you just take it all at face value as entertainment, and not as a news source.

Art Bell in my opinion is the best radio talk show host of all time.
That being said I think that the show as it is now has so many commercials and is so overly produced , that it is barley worth listening to on most nights.
I really miss the days of a five hour interview and unscreened phone lines.
George puts a lot into the show and he does the best that he can but I suppose that there are only so many times that one can interview the same people and keep it interesting. And the amount of commercials .... did I mention that............

Can anyone remember a theory brought to George where he said he disagreed?

He loses credibility with me because he never really interviews guests just agrees with them.

I would prefer someone to ask someone hawking a book for evidence and when it seems like BS calls it out.

I dislike Alex Jones for same reasons.

Art Bell was the master. Interviews were great. let anybody and everybody call in. No screeners...that was great also. He was tops...until the mess with his son. Bell seemed to change after that, even seemed to lose his friendship with Hoagland which I thought could never end. That was it for me with Art.

I liked Noory OK for a while. Then, the more he got entrenched, the more he changed. I've stopped listening for the most part. I check the site to see who his guests are or the topic. I also hate the way Noory ends the guest segments now. All but boots them out of the chair so to speak. You always let the guest have the last thank you and good night. George will cut them off in mid sentence now. Poof.....gone.

Punnet is too ego driven and his opinions are most times overbearing. The show is about/for the guest, not the host Punnet.

To answer the OP's question, I prefer Noory.

However, I'd take Punnet over all of them any day of the week.
