Art Bell entertained you with his slightly off personality. Noory still needs to buy a personality.

Art super glued his lips together by accident on the show and then told us all what he had just done!

He forgets the deck on the back of the double wide was taken down to be rebuilt walks out into thin air during a break almost kills himself, and then proceeds to tell us all about it.

Mels hole was a classic. All his Friday open lines were.

The one thing about Ian is he broadcasts out of his house too.

He admitted one night he was sitting there in the dark buck naked.

Just because he could.

Haven't kept up. I would say both are traitors regarding 9/11. Both backed down when they could have stood up. They know the truth, their just cowards.

"Ok I have no Idea where this conversation is going,,,, sooo, to the callers we go!"

That is my answer.

I stopped listening in 2009 so maybe things have gotten a little better since then. I really liked George when he first took over, but it was right after he landed his huge contract that he started to get really bad. He got really annoying, and he seemed to dis-connect from the interviews. He is way too scripted and I am so sick of him asking every single guest "Out of all the years, all your research, what has been your favorite topic to research?" or something to that effect. The other thing that George does that I can not stand is he PAYS NO ATTENTION to the guests, he simply asks a question, the guest replies, and then he asks the next question on his list. Literally dozens of times I heard him ask a question that the guest had just got done answering. The guests usually are quite polite about it and just answer the question by trying to use different words if they can. Finally, yes, he did over-promote his stupid book. I got so sick of hearing about that damn thing.

Now for Art, I love Art. His voice is perfect for the time slot and topics discussed. He engaged the guest and would come up with his own questions instead of just following a script. I agree that Art has some views that I do not agree with, but the show is not about that. The show is something that makes you feel alive inside, something that grasps your attention and does not let go until the final sign off for the night. This is something that lacks with George's shows. Art had me hooked, and drooling at the radio waiting for those long commercial breaks to end so that I could get some more. Art would talk about shadow people and scare me. George talks about them and makes a retarded little kids joke about something off topic, totally ruining the moment. Art Bell introduced me to some incredible information, and some incredible people. I will never forget Art Bell and what he has given to me. As for George, I am happy to forget him.

Ian is alright to me. At first I couldnt stand him, but he grew on me and I actually like his sense of humor and outlook on things.

The best, next to Art Bell, is George Knapp. When he hosts shows, he does it with a style that is second only to Art. George also engages the guests and is willing to ask the tough questions.

I love ranting about George Noory, but its too bad that the network does not care enough about the shows integrity, and only ratings that the idiot Noory can bring in. Oh well..

Bell is the master. I still listen to some old school Art Bell at least once a day. His shows from the 90s are just excellent. I also love Bell because he's very intelligent and can talk techy. What I also appreciate is he can simplify complicated concepts so his audience can understand them. He's also got a great personality and is just a master showman. I also like how he gives every guest a chance but has no problem throwing a guest off the air publicly if they're outright frauds.

I can't stand Noory. I haven't been a regular listener in years. Noory is boring and obviously the company man who will never be controversial or stray into sensitive areas. His interviews are god awful and since he's taken over the guests and callers quality have plummeted. Noory has had ever fraud and schlock artist on his show and personally kissed all their asses. Noory is just a middle-aged boring idiot who should be hosting coffee chat on sunday morning on a local station and not one of the best franchises in radio. Plus the music on Noory's show sounds like something a middle-aged depressed loser would listen too unlike Art's bad ass music. George Noory Sucks!

I like Punnet as a weekend guy. Like George Knapp a lot. Haven't heard any of the other guest hosts.

Ian Punnett by god has the worst voice for radio, or maybe it's because i find him obnoxious.

Speaking on behalf of thousands of UK citizens, they (Art & George) are both very good.

BUT, Art is thought of as a God, he is a legend and will go down in the history books.

It's really hard to get to listen to his shows / C2C here in the UK on normal / internet radio so we have to use YouTube or make do with mp3 downloads of which I have hundreds.

So Art rules!!

I never really "liked" Art Bell so much as I admired his technique. Art could take the lamest topic on Earth and stretch it into a 5-hour show. Every night.

I mean, Art would keep baiting you: "In the next hour, we're going to be talking with [insert name], who's going to reveal the most awesome secret about [insert topic]." An hour later, after nothing was revealed, Art would bait you again: "In the next hour, [insert name] is going to reveal his awesome secret."

Finally, in the last hour, Art's lame guest would reveal that he had a new book out, or a new video, and how you could buy it for half price for a limited time only. That was the "awesome secret"... And Art pulled the same bullshît every night for years on end.

And we listened, no matter how lame was the subject or guest.

THAT was Art's talent, and you had to admire it.

George Noory, on the other hand, has never mastered the talent. George is one of the least articulate, least skillful radio hosts I've ever heard. Poor George is a blunderer, an inarticulate boob who, quite simply, doesn't know his subject matter and who is totally reliant on the "cheat sheets" supplied by his guests.

I actually tried to compile a list of stupid things said by George Noory, and I finally gave up because the list was never-ending.

I mean, Art Bell was no genius, but he was head and shoulders above George Noory.

Which is probably why they selected George to take over Coast to Coast AM... They didn't want to upstage Art Bell, who they call upon occasionally to "fill in" for George — it's a guaranteed hot night any time Art takes the microphone.

I started listening to Art in about 1995 maybe a little earlier. Art was far superior in his ability to extract what would be the most pertinent information from his guests. Indeed I would say that Art was incredibly skilled in this regard. Noory has dumbed the show down tremendously! I tried listening to him when he took the show's reigns but could not stand the lower intellectual level being presented. About two weeks ago I thought I would give the show another try but after 4 episodes I gave up. I kept shouting at the radio when George completely missed potentially important lines of questioning.

I now listen to Kevin Smith and George Knapp - when he is on. Knapp blows Noory away!

Exactly. Well, remember, George isn't educated in the paranormal — basically, he receives a "cheat sheet" of questions and answers from his guest, and he never strays from the prepared notes. As soon as he strays from the cheat sheet, he says something incredibly stupid like "How was evolution created?"

That's an actual George Noory line, BTW.

So, George doesn't know how to dig into his guests for information. He asks what the guests tell him to ask, so the guests always seem to have an answer prepared — they are, just as all the questions are prepared.

In exchange, these guests always make a point of mentioning what a "fine interviewer" George is. Well, yeah, as long as he follows their script.

It's propaganda, the "Big Lie" — keep telling the audience what a fine interviewer George is, and eventually they'll start believing it.

But, seriously, the IQ of the whole show — and the audience — plummeted when George took over.

Consequently, when the weekend host Ian Punnet came in and — gasp! — spoke with polysyllabic words and compound sentences, the illiterate George Noory audience started whining and complaining: "That Ian Punnet guy thinks he's so smart!"

Well, he IS. That's why George Noory fans hated Ian so much.

Punnet is educated, well read in all sorts of subjects, and can not only dig for info from guests, he debates the guests and wins; and, most importantly, Punnet calls the guests' bluff when they LIE (which is often).

George Noory is incapable of even remotely emulating any of Punnet's skills. Like, George is so far removed from Ian Punnet's level, the light from Punnet won't reach George Noory for another 4,000 years.

Hands down Art Bell .

I like Ian and George Nap a great deal better then George Noory .

George does not spend enough time researching his guests or topics to be able to ask a good question and he spends way to much time stating his own opinion , as if he was the one being interviewed .

The one thing George Noory does better then any of the others at coast is his ability to relate to callers , who like him , have no clue .

I started listening to Art in 94, don't listen to Noory ever and never have, won't go into a rant about it, given up on Ian, Knapp rocks, would be great if he took over the show but know he won't, he has a great day job at KLAS in Vegas.

I listen to one of Art's Classics everyday and have collected around 2000 shows at this point, have learned much from Art and his guests like my favs, Graham Hancock, Michio Kaku and Dean Radin and will never forget Father Malachi Martin or Terrence McKenna, when Art was at the wheel it was way more then entertainment, it was an opportunity to learn and open up our world.

I prefer George Noory,Art seems like He sold out and doesn't listen conspiracy theories anymore(When He's on the radio, which isn't much anymore).

I wouldn't be into "alternative media" if it wasn't for Art Bell. I absolutely adore Art Bell and he has really guided me to several paths that I will always hold dear. Having said that, I do really, really like George Noory. I purchased his book "Worker in the Light" and I found it to be an immense pleasure to read. I honestly couldn't possibly choose, I only want the show to continue to stay on the air. As long as the subject matter is there, I honestly don't have a preference as far as who the host is. I think George is quite capable and does a great job.

I will say that over the Christmas holidays though, Bell did host a new episode on EVPs that was just bad-ass.

As much as I dislike George Noory I would still listen to him over Ian Punnet. Something about Ian just rubs me the wrong way.

I am a university student, and I have been listening to coast to coast am since high school, and although I missed out on Art Bell, I have still listened to a lot of old Art shows and I never miss a weekend show Ian or Knapp, and I have to say it goes like this...

Ian > Art > Knapp > George

I don't want to say I don't like George Noory but I do enjoy the other hosts more. Noory is nice on the weekdays, I don't feel guilty falling asleep perhaps halfway through a show and I find his attitude is admirable. However, I disagree with his personal views (which become apparent after a long while) and I get tired of all the Jesus talk (which Art did often too).

I feel like Ian asks solid questions and gets passionate about things and if he doesn't like the way something sounds he'll push further. Knapp is enjoyable and I find his way of asking questions great too.

But like what has been said earlier, Art Bell will forever be the master, I will always remember staying up until sunrise TERRIFIED about what his shows were about (like the recent ghost recordings episode) STILL gives me nightmares!

The Ghost/EVP recordings were definitely chilling! I really loved that episode. I get really stoked when those particular episodes come on.
