What about letting people have stun guns and pepper spray. Why not make protection less lethal for those who would want that.

That's a hoot. And when the guy says, "Give me all your money", and you pull out the pepper spray, he'll pull out his gun and say, "stupid idiot, bringing cayanne to a gun fight..."""

Let's look at another country, Canada we've always had more restrictive gun laws and we have a much better crime rate then the U.S. I'm sorry but I find a good chunk of this thread insulting when you're trying to connect gun control to genocide.

I'm sorry but Canada has to be the poorest example on anything related to violent acts. I mean no disrespect to you or your country, but when one thinks of Violence/Aggression Canada falls way at the bottom and it has nothing to do with gun control it has to do with your people and their personality traits/mindsets. With the exception of hockey and that one street where you guys fight outside the bars there isn't anything violent about Canada and thats not a bad thing. But it has nothing to do with your gun laws. Even if it did your looking at one country out of how many? And even then what is the difference? It all boils down to the people as a whole.
