So we're told the globe is on average getting warmer ? Guess these people just didn't get the memo

Just had these winter images sent to me and even though it's a hot 35c outside at the moment, these pics almost had me shivering !

So thought I'd share them with all those people thinking they're doing it tough in the northern hemispheres winter at the moment

Those are some incredible photos ... especially the ones of the cars parked by the ocean and covered in solid ice - I had to see it to believe it

And how do 2 cars inside a garage/shed also get completely covered in ice ?

wow that crazy im glad that it hasnt snowed where i live in 10 years. And judging from the pics id say they are from Scandinavia

Im not an advocate of global warming or anything but you are as bad as them for posting pictures with no reference to location and/or date and implying that something that has been happening for billions of years actually means something special lol.

Whoops ... my apologies !!!

This post wasn't intended in the slightest to be a pro or con regarding global warming and/or climate change ... sorry if I gave that impression.

I posted these pics just to show the extremes of winter and to lift the spirits of those experiencing snow in parts of Europe and the US that would normally rarely, if ever see it, and to whom a few inches of snow may seem a major event (and for them, yes it is) but that other countries literally have it up past their eyeballs !

And yes, i agree with you that I supplied no time or place references ... simply because I didn't have them. For all I know, these pics may have been taken a few years ago ... or alternatively could be as current as yesterday.

Irrespective ... damn impressive shots !

Good grief! and the brits are moaning because they have 6 inches to a foot of snow! from the other posts on ATS I think they had better get used to it.
Enjoyed the pictures, I hope those people are all okay.

The frozen cars inside the garage is actually several years old. Thats what happens when people go on vacation and leave the garage door open and the water lines freeze and burst!

At least they have AAA!
