why are there so many deadly quakes happening all at once and are more to be expected?

Theoretically one's brain can live without their head indefinitely (To the point of natural age death) if it is supplied with enough nutrients and oxygen to support its continued "Functions"

Whether one would call that "Living" is strictly up to perspective.

Earthquakes are caused by the tectonic plates colliding, retreating, or subsuming each other.

These forces can be effected by Gravitational Tidal Forces, and Convection currents in the Liquid mantle of the planet.

en.wikipedia.org...

Earthquakes are a common occurrence in any planet that still contains the initial kinetic energy of its accretion.

en.wikipedia.org...(astrophysics)

Whether (Or How) the magnitude of Earthquakes is related to the phenomenon of Geomagnetic reversal is not currently well understood, But could be a factor in any observed increase in earthquake magnitude or frequency.

Is Ceres, the dwarf planet that resides in, and follows the same path around the Sun as the asteroid belt, the "Central Sun", of the destroyed planet "Tiamat"?

This is possibly the "Central Sun" of the planet "Tiamat" that you speak of.

And this would lend credence to the myths of "Marduk", the "Sun God" who "Slew Tiamat" and cast it into the abyss.

I find your answer to be fully acceptable. But as you might imagine one answer will always lead to another, and another, and another, similar to the movie, "The Answer Man" www.moviefone.com...

Anything further I have to say on this subject will be non public.

Thank you " Edric" for your openness and honesty. Its what counts.

I have a 2001 GM Impala. I don’t have a Cd player, but just a broken tape player in my car. Do you have a site that explains how to install a cd player or maybe an Mp3 player into my car?

P.S If you can find a website besides E-how, that would be greatly appreciated

Do you also know the Fit for the CD/Mp3 player? I cant find the right size, since my Impala is 9 years old.

Thanks again. Im going to keep drilling you questions I have always wondered untill you drop

What is that sport, were two people fight with those double padded weapons on a platform, which the objective of the game is to hit the person off the platform into the water?

I was wondering can conciousness exist outside a biological entity in our reality, e.g if we create machines that become self-aware and can then reproduce and become self sustainable and question their universe like humans, will they have conciousness that maybe another soul can re-incarnate into.

The sport does not have its own name, but is often referred to as "Gladiatorial Joust" or "Platform Joust" or "Gladiatorial Platform Joust"

The sport derives from "Pugil Sticks" a weapon designed for bayonet training for the US Marine Corps during World War II by Dr. Armond Seilder of the University of New Mexico.

en.wikipedia.org...

The Sport that you are referring to, is a combination of this training method, Plus platforms and water.

Yes, Consciousness can exist outside of biological entities.

However, it should be noted that Consciousness is not a supernatural quality, but a capacity of intellect.

"Consciousness: an alert cognitive state in which you are aware of yourself and your situation"

So, a Machine that was aware of itself, would be Conscious.

Whether a Soul can reincarnate into a machine is another matter entirely, and would depend, fundamentally on HOW the soul interacts with physical reality (By What Mechanism)

Well here is the million dollar question. What is the soul? Scientifically speaking. No esoteric mumbo jumbo answers. Could the soul be an EM field? Is are Brain a Reducing value? Got any "Good' explanations on what the soul is?

By the way thanks for the last couple of questions you answered.

Very helpful, hopefully you can answer this question intelligently

The universe is a Multi (12?) Dimensional construct, that I would Call "God" (For Sake of Expediency)

What we determine as "Reality" (What we observe) is "God" impinging upon the 3 dimensional space that we see as "Reality"

To give you an impression of this, check out this video:

If you could imagine a pool of water, whose surface is reflective from below (So that you cannot see above the surface)....

You stick your fingers into the water, but not your whole hand.

To someone below the water, they see 5 separate "Things", but in the "Higher" Dimension (Above the water) they are in fact, the same "One Thing"

The "Soul" is a Fragment of "God's" Consciousness, separated from knowledge of its inherent oneness by the perceptual boundaries imposed by how our "Realm" of existence is constructed.

As such, Everything in Existence is a part of "God" that seems "Distinct" and "Separate" but, "Above the Surface" are all the same one thing.

This is how Dreams and Telepathy work.

(No, I don't know the math yet... but I am learning)

There are many different studies of different human groups.

Race
(Genetic, Biological)
en.wikipedia.org...(classification_of_human_beings)

Gender
(Genetic, Biological, Reproductive)
en.wikipedia.org...

Philosophy
(Perceptual, Cognitive)
en.wikipedia.org...

Religion
(Subjective)
en.wikipedia.org...

Psychology
(Mental, Instinctual)
en.wikipedia.org...

Etc...

An interesting classification system of personality is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.

en.wikipedia.org...

Which classifies people into groups based upon personality traits.

Why did Arrested Development get cancelled?
Seriously....

(In It's) third season, Fox positioned the show at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT and 7:00 p.m. CT/MT, directly opposite Monday Night Football in the Mountain and Pacific time zone

On November 9, 2005, Fox announced that the show would not be airing in November sweeps

Fox ended up showing the last four episodes in a two-hour timeslot—directly opposite the opening ceremonies of the 2006 Winter Olympics.

Despite months-long rumors of Arrested Development having been picked up by the cable television network Showtime, the San Francisco Chronicle reported on March 28, 2006 that creator Mitch Hurwitz would not be returning.

"Arrested Development," the critically praised but low-rated Fox show that won an Emmy for outstanding comedy series, as well as Emmys for writing, will not be resurrected on Showtime as rumors circulating for months have suggested.

A source close to the negotiations said that creator Mitch Hurwitz had decided after a lengthy period of debating an offer from Showtime that "Arrested Development reached its end, creatively, as a series."

www.imdb.com...

As Far as my research yields.... Arrested Development was a "Good" Show.

And by Good, I mean that it panders to a smaller demographic than, lets say... watching someone get punched in the nuts for a straight hour.

Broadcasting (And selling Advertising) is about pulling in the NUMBERS.

Television shows need LOTS of viewers to justify Advertisers buying airtime, and by extension, Enabling the revenue that affords production of the show.

And, as you can see by this graph here:

There are more people in the "I like to watch people getting hit in the nuts" demographic, than there are in the "I Understand what Wit Is" demographic.

In addition to this, The "Target Audience" of shows that cater to a more sophisticated palate, typically is not swayed by advertising as heavily as....

Well....

I think you get the sad picture...

Why do fools fall in love?

Why do fools fall in love?

Love, as we would describe it, is a chemical dependency upon the stimuli of another person that one has become (Or wishes to become) Mated to.

The actions of Endorphins linked with an individual produce a "High" of sorts in the chemistry of the brain, coupled with Oxytocin, a hormone responsible for pair bonding, causes feelings of deep attachment for one's "Mate"

Love, as it is known by most people, is a biological imperative to ensure the continuation of the species, by facilitating a cooperative arrangement between men and women that ensures the best possible chance of survival, and success to their mutual offspring.

Fools have the same neurochemistry, thus, are capable of falling in love, just like the rest of us.

I know you were looking for a more "Etheric" answer.... but the simple fact is:

Love is a biological mechanism that insures that humans do not ditch their offspring or their mate.

Individuals that do not have this connection have less of a chance of producing offspring, their children have less available resources, less chance of becoming reproducing adults, etc...

Genetic Drift Selects for Love, because it is the most advantageous behavior for survival.
