I also know he made a lot of promises that he can't keep. Why promise?

How many promises did this guy make? Over 300 ...

I mean come on, thats a joke. So many TBD, I guess empty words mean a lot to you.

In the end, he is still a politician.

He still got three years left for change.

It's not the change I was expecting, Its the "change" others were expecting. Only to be duped again. This is fundamentally wrong. We really do need "change" and until the people of the USA wake up and do something, We will never have the "Change" we so truly deserve.

Let's see, I'll tell you what changed for me that I expected.

2. No more being embarrassed when the President says Nuclear
3. No more Dick Cheney
4. No more Presidential Deer in headlights expressions
5. No more State condoned torture of war prisoners
6. No more rabble rousing from the Bully Pulpit
7. No more illusions that Republicans and Neo Cons respect election results.
8. No more denial of responsibility by the President
9. No more Karl Rove plotting Nixonian strategies

10. No more false declarations of "Mission Accomplished"

12 .No more fear mongering by the administration
13. No more "Cowboy" mentality in the Oval Office
14. No more moral majority (there never was one)
15. No more voter repression
16. No more water boarding
17. No more illegal tampering with the Justice Dept
18. No more Supreme Court appointment of bigots
19. No more 10th amendment violation by DEA
20. No more Berlin walls in America
21. No more siege mentality
22. No more hatred of America by the French
23. No more hatred of America by the Germans
24. No more VP shoots friend in the face
25. no more "only" closet Homosexuals in the Admin
26. No more approval of extreme Religious agendas
27. No more illegal firing of DOJ officials for not prosecuting your political opponents
28. No more ignoring the EPA
29. No more Ignoring HLS
30. No more Jingoism by the President
31. No more useless Missile defense
32. No more ignoring the will of the majority
33. No more destruction of the environment for profit.
34. No more Gitmo indefinite detention

40. Has diffused Iran's nuclear expansion through diplomacy
42. Averted a complete economic meltdown.
43. Immediately dealt with Yemen
44. Has saved millions of jobs.
45. Has restored pride in America
46. Has stopped the war in Iraq from being a profit center for Bush cronies
47. Has not surrendered to the Petroleum interests
48. Has Social consciousness
49. Has appointed a much better cabinet
50. Has restored confidence in America by the rest of the world

I can keep on going for hours.

The biggest change of all is that he actually wants the people's lot to improve.

The interesting part is many of us don't see any of this because the changes we want, and will get are impossible to accomplish in 12 months.

Keep this in mind, Bush changed the world in 9 months. Then he proceeded to do his best to destroy it for the next 7 years and 3 months.

He almost did it, at least to us and Iraq. He destabilized the Middle East.
He even saw goodness in the eyes of Putin.
Bush averted his eyes from New Orleans before, during, and after Katrina.
He even thought FEMA did a great job.

Let's talk bailout. How quickly we forget, the October surprise.
The bailout was caused by Bush policies. Deregulation of wall street, Iraq, cronyism. The Bush era was a distribution of wealth of epic proportion.
Bush came in with a surplus. It was a National disaster.

What did he leave us with? A profit? or did he not only squander that, but then opened the floodgates of cash to the rich.
Handed the Pharmaceutical Corps the largest raise in history.

How is the price of Gasoline lately? Remember how much it was under Bush.

When we were attacked on 9/11, we went to war against a country that had nothing to do with it. Iraq was the obstacle to Iran, and other M.E. states.

But no, people here that hate Obama are way too busy crying, and whining that the Black Kenyan Commie is taking away our freedoms.

Sorry folk, it's not going to fly.

1. It's a lie.
2. Most of it is due to sour grapes
3. We don't care that you feel deprived because you can't rule by minority.
4. We are not going to revolt, or let anyone else do it.
5. We are not afraid.
6. We are not dumb, deaf, and blind
7. We respect the Constitution
8. We love America and we are going to fix it "legally"
9. We don't like taxes but we know we have to pay them.

Finally, no amount of moaning, rabble rousing, tea parties, jingoism, patriots, bigots, revisionists, excuses, repressive ideologies, fear mongering, and hypocrisy is going to convince me, or us,the American people, to let you take over, and rewrite the Constitution.

And I'm sure someone could ramble on on the opposite end about Mr. Obama...

300+ promises... He's a politician. We don't need politicians. We need people that have the USA's best interest in mind. And this administration is not them, Who knows if we will ever have what the founding fathers wanted for us.

All I know is Obama is not the "Change" he promised.

Again what change were you after ????
Did you really think that the USA's best interests are in the interests of the world ? They are not always. Obama see's this but you don't.
What are you looking for ? A dictator that says sod the world and USA first ?? if that is the case, then the USA would create even more enemies. Maybe Obama understands that in the next ten years the USA will not be the major player in the world that it has been since the fall of the USSR. ( Don't believe me,, give it a few years and watch the dominance of China and India, they are the next world super powers )
There is nothing wrong in be a patriot and being proud of your country and wanting the best, but wanting the best for your country means respecting other countries and not trampling all over the globe being a bully of a country. Obama see's this. Just give him the time. Again in 3 years, time will tell and the people will vote.

I can honestly say I agree with almost nothing you said, and find a lot of it downright untrue.

No more ignoring the will of the majority

You beat me to it........yup, I'd like to see that list proven.

Op, I'll be the first to admit I don't like Obama, in the least. However, not liking someone is not a reason to impeach someone. I think there will be a time when he will screw up enough to be impeached, but, do you honestly think anyone in office now would pull the trigger on something like impeachment? Not gonna happen.

Honesty is admirable but it's not indicative of, knowledge, accuracy, depth, or discernment.

Thank you for the opportunity to rebut.

Health Care.

Obama was elected by the majority, with a mandate to overhaul Health Care.

Are you referring to polls? or are you saying the bill was created by the minority party?

I also don't see much rebuttal of the other gems.

Say something with some substance. Like I said before often, in any admin there is plenty to not like that is real, not fantasy.

Try real issues, and actions, not faerie tales.

If this country keeps headed down the path it's currently on Obama is going to wish he would have been impeached by the time his 4 years are up. Impeachment would be a blessing compared to what some people in this country will want to do to him in the coming years. He's a joke of a President. The entire US government needs to be disbanded and re-instated. And they can start with Ron Paul and Peter Schiff.

Stop hiding behind 'USA's best interest' and 'what the founding fathers wanted', grow a pair, and admit you just don't like him for your own reasons.

And FWIW I disagree..that wasn't a ramble. It was someone else's opinion, as justified as yours but better stated. You should try to be more open-minded.

Can you show me the actual data that supports what you're saying? A vocal minority is not a majority. I would like to see a source please.

I really liked this exchange, I really did. Obamas in and has 3 more years is right, It will take longer than that to possibly change wheels that have been in motion, which would at best make him a liar.

Well said,

I gave you a star.

They know what you are saying, but the change had to be instant. If it had been, they would have called him a witch.

You can't reason with ?????

Let's give Obama a chance to screw up. Then we can vote him out, if he flops.

Until then stop whining, accept the result of the election, and the mandate of the people.

Peace

The only valid source around these parts seems to be WND, sorry to say.
Maybe dreams, and "hearing voices" have some value too. But most just talk to Jesus and get their talking points there.

1. Out of the last 10 presidents have any of them failed to deliver on a promise? If so were they impeached?

2. How can you impeach a puppet of the elite?

Threats are not a wise thing to articulate against the President of the United States. The rest can be called treasonous.

Be careful dude.

You mean it would make him human? maybe.

Name one President that never lied. Name a human that never lied, who could speak.

A promise is a declaration of intent, not an absolute certainty. In an election a promise is not much, but to Obama, it means trying as hard as he can, as fast as he can.

I like that about my President.
