UFO Disclosure closer in 2010?

As Ufo sightings increase and more countries worldwide come forward with their Ufo files, could there be any chance 2010 will be the year for Ufo Disclosure In the USA ? Will president Obama stick to his words to ensure transparency and disclosure permeates his government?



First I heard that Obama was supposed to disclose the ET presence in May of '09...

Then we were supposed to have disclosure by the end of '09...

It's now 2010....are we ever going to get disclosure??

Does anyone else feel that something BIG is about to happen??

I've thought about this very much... And I do believe some kind of disclosure is going to happen sometime soon.

I really don't think that it would be the disclosure we are looking for... It would be something more along the lines of Obama saying:

"Yes, there are craft that are possibly from other planets that are visiting us right now. We don't know who they are, why they are here, or what they are doing. We have been trying for 60 years to study/establish contact with them to no avail. The investigations were kept secret because we didn't want good american citizens to feel that there security was threatened by a force much greater than anything we have, that we can not control. We now feel we have come forward as a great nation to a point were we are able to bring this information forward, and share the wonderful idea that we are not alone in this universe."

I even think this would be pushing it. TPTB know that any kind of loose ends, especially on a subject like this, would be relentlessly searched by investigators to find the real story, which would ultimately lead to their reveal, and downfall.

If something along these lines was said, I'm sure people would know for sure that the government still knows a lot more than they are saying.

If any more information is released, such as the extent of study/contact/information about the visitors, then I think its safe to say that TPTB no longer have anywhere near as much power as they have had in the past. I still think this is unlikely though.

I do hope for a full disclosure, but I don't think a FULL disclosure would come from the US government. It would come from a different source, probably China or India, or some private investigation that comes up with irrefutable proof.

I do hope this will happen though; every single day I think about it, and how it could totally change the world.

Ha Ha - hasnt the Healthcare negotiations taught you anything, what Obama said on the campaign trail was for one thing - TO GET ELECTED, he has no plans on being transparent!

Yep! I was a true believer but now I don't think we will ever get disclosure un less something drastic happens! Like a mega ship sits over a major city or something equally as wacky. Even the media these days seem controlled to the point where nothing of any importance leaks out! So I think the ball's in the ET's court, That the only way of cracking the Disclosure beast I'm afraid.

I do feel like something big is just around the corner disclosure wise, though I can't help but wonder if that's just my interest in/excitement for the subject preventing me from realizing we are no closer to governmental disclosure than we where 60 years ago.

I really hope I'm wrong but I just don't see the government seriously commenting on the subject, much less offering full or even partial disclosure, what would they have to gain? Not a thing.

There's nothing for them to gain.

1) John Q Public doesn't give a #### about things that don't directly affect his life, water cooler talk for a while but it would quickly become a non-issue for them.

2) Religious fanatics are crazy now, everyone knows this, the alien presence made public wouldn't make them any more or less so, they would simply have one more group to hate.

3) The media, whether you believe they're puppets or not will only push so far with their questions, the explanations given will be largely accepted, relates to #1.

4) Normal religious folk have been primed for the past few years that aliens can be part of God's plan, the collapse of religion people love to mention will not happen.

5) Conspiracy minded people will only change the questions they're currently asking, questions that those in the know probably don't want to answer. For a short while after disclosure this group will be looked upon as "wow they were really onto something." Once the further questioning begins this group goes right back into the laughing stock category.

So when all is said and done, after disclosure nothing changes significantly, it's really a depressing thought and I can't believe I actually typed this but here we are. IMO, the government has absolutely nothing to gain by disclosing anything on the subject and if they have nothing to gain, why bother.

in january 2008, I was looking foward to it, in january 2009 I was almost certain that year, in junuary 2010 I no longer wait for it. If it happen good, im not longer hoping.

You know what? Almost everyone sees something in the sky that don't look right. It happens day in and day out. UFOs are no secret... they are in the open in every sense except the public's acceptance. And the reason for this huge omission is because the media is not interested in bringing you truth in living color in prime time.

I have come to the point where i do think a UFO could land on the White House lawn and it would be months before anyone in the MSM would even mention it.

Oh yes,it could be on you Tube or anywhere else but if it ain't on Fox or CNN... who would take the time to think?

Information is owned in this society and opinion is sculpted like a work of art by those who feed our thoughts.

Have you noticed that the 'elites' plans have been falling apart lately..?..

Their swine flu pandemic that they tried to 'pull,' flopped.
Their global warming hoax is blowing up in their face.
Their health care bill is not being accepted by the public.
These airport scanners will not be accepted either.
Everybody's starting to realize the war on terror is phony.

Their house of cards are falling down...they are loosing their power...
They may realize that in order to save their necks they are going to have to disclose...

I'm not convinced swine flu was anything more than they said it was, although I'm open to the possibility there could have been some nefarious plan in the works, I'll never take the shot btw.

Your other points make sense though, if it's all about power and control and it sure seems to be that way, and all their plans do seem to be falling apart it would make sense that a huge announcement, like disclosure of an alien presence on Earth might be just what it takes to get people back in line.

This may come off as selfish or uncaring but I'd love for disclosure to happen, no matter what prompted it, minus death and destruction of course.

Personally I have long ago stopped worrying about when/if "disclosure" will happen. If it does it does, if it doesn't it doesn't. Barring some miraculous independent ufological investigation with undeniable proof it is not up to us. Also when it does happen I am pretty confident you will not find out on ATS until after CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, etc have interrupted programming with "breaking news".

Most of us are well aware that the odds significantly point towards the fact that we have, are, and likely will continue to be visited by some type of non-human intelligence, it is pretty obvious when one does some basic ufological research in my humble opinion. I guess now we are all just awaiting it to be "official". BUT, as I have said before, I would be shocked if some type of disclosure, whether it be microbial life, a Earth-like planet, etc doesn't happen by 2025.

I remember hearing a project camelot interview of a guy that used to work for the government saying that "ET's dont talk to them....

I'm keeping an eye on next month (Feb.) for some kind of disclosure.

I have a feeling it will be a major move to divert attention from the failing economy and the health care debacle.

Time will tell...

Disclosure is something that everyone wants, but the powers-that-be seems unwilling to actually do.

The questions that need to be asked are what will the government gain from disclosure and -the big one- the reaction of the general public- will it be positive or negative?

Will those who control the information be willing lose this power after so many year or will they fight tooth and nail to retain it?

If you want proof, then ask the aliens themselves to show themselves to you. Open your heart and ask sincerely.

You will see for yourself.

There has been far too many "disclosure is around the corner" claims over the years for me to take any recent claims seriously.

I would welcome disclosure with and open-heart and an open-mind, but I agree with chryrax- the owners of this secret will never part with this power unless they are forced to.

Disclosure......can't see it happening any time soon to be honest

I really want to believe that we have/are being visited, and I do believe that there is life out there, but recently I've begun to contemplate whether there is any really good evidence to support visitation.

It just seems to me that all the really clear photographic evidence that has been presented is from the 1950/60's (Adamski etc), how is it that with the advent of technology, the fact that nowadays we have digital cameras, video's etc, the only stuff we get now is obscure lights in the sky?

Why are the photo's taken decades ago showing clearly defined crafts?......and why do pictures taken of alleged crafts, taken in the 50/60's look so..........sci_fi films circa 1950/60's.

If and when disclosure comes, I think it will be forced disclosure, by that I mean it won't have anything to do with any government........not on this planet anyway.

Pictures aren't everything, you have to consider the witnesses, radar, etc. There are quite a few great cases (as in literally thousands, with about 250 being really excellent). Maybe you should take a look at the cases presented in this thread:
