I have that exact .22 in the picture...a true joy to shoot. Used it in a league of 40 shooter and placed fourth in open sights my first time out!

Congratulations on placing! That really is quite an accomplishment. It is by far my favorite; you can hammer tacks because of its accuracy.

For prices I skim the latest issue of SHOTGUN NEWS at the news stand. Local pawnshops and gunstores are a good place to look, but here in Phoenix the local paper has tons of used guns for sale to security conscious folks like us.

Not sure where you live, but Dicks Sporting goods was selling SKS's for $159

i live in florida.. im gonna try to get a .22 rifle.
