Would you wear a button through the airport that read "How much unscreened cargo and mail is on my flight today?" to expose what a joke all this is..

You are making an excellent point. Baggage doesn't receive near the screening the passengers do. Commercial air freight and US mail even less. Obviously the increased screening of pax is just some kind of vast psy op.

Yes, I think that the people should know that. I will, and when they hassle me about it my reply will be. " Just a matter a fact sir"

I "might" have worked at a freight forwarding company, a company that is pretty much the last stop or first place for inbound/outbound freight. I might be able to say that these FFC might be hired by the military industrial complex. And it is possible that our screening procedures were abysmal.

Boy I am bummed out, I was hopeing this would get more hits. It would be fun to show the tsa we know what there doing is for nothing ,almost. At least they would know we know.

Consider that if we all knew it would make the gov fess up they cant protect us. No way No how can they screen everything going on board.. is there?

Perhaps we could have the tsa sign a statement that everything aboard the plane has been check and our safety is guaranteed absolutely. Think...? naw

In two weeks i'm flying from Kuwait to Wash DC to LAX and then back to Kuwait on the 31st. That should be a "funner" trip than usual.

In Kuwait, if the line it too long to go thru the detectors, Kuwaiti's will just walk around them. The security folks are too busy calling or texting their Filipina girlfriends on their cells to notice anyway.

I can hardly wait to fly into Dulles. It'll be interesting to see what new rules TSA has dreamed up.
