Hi, recently my math tutor class is doing something called proving an identity.

Like for example

"*"=exponent 2
"0"= Theta

sin*0=1-cos*0
cos*0=1-sin*0

etc... etc...

I have a few questions but I'm only gonna ask two. It's pretty difficult but anyways I just want u guys to explain how you got it not just the answer!

(1+tan0) = 1+2sin0cos0
--------- ------------
(1-tan0) cos*0-sin*0

and

(1+tan0+[1/cos])*+(1-tan0+[1/cos0])*=[4/cos0](1+[1/cos0])

I ask for your help, it's due by thursday! I require steps on every thing changed and how u got it! Thank's for your time.
