I agree that we are "in" the end days - when did it start? I would lean towards the beginning of the end starting around the time that mankind was created. We are, afterall, the usual suspect of destroying things - i.e. morals, ethics, the planet, etc.

The prophetic time clock, as some believe, started in 1948, when Israel became a nation.

I guess if you think about it, the day we are born is the day we start to die.

I'm in the same strange mode?

Hey guys, putting the date in the Title was to grab attention. I in no way think that tommorow is the end of the world. March 16th is a time when an 18th century rabbi predicted the third temple to start. The third Temple is a Massive sign of the end times. So, if the temple starts soon it really would signal the beginning of the end.

I agree, true

When the temple begins construction, it will be time to strap on the crash helmet and assume the correct survival position.

Have you seen photos of where Armageddon will be fought? Talk about a picture perfect location - you can see for miles and miles.

I was only referring to the world/society as a whole - there are going to be more going to hell than Heaven - I believe anyhow.

nobody goes anywhere but in a hole or up in smoke...why do i say that? because there is no proof to the otherwise. ATS's main theme is to DENY IGNORANCE

because humans have the ability to "dream" and "imagine" other worlds after earthly death, does not mean they exist. and to insist that they do, all the while dismissing people who don't believe in mythical beings as being "evil" or "ignorant" just makes what you say irrelavant.

when i, as a human being, can have more forgivness than the religous gods you pray to, something is wrong.

Its funny...I think the same thing about the Abrahamic faiths.

God has allowed the delusion of them for a reason. It will be a marker for who is seeking things of spirit and not things of Earth.

You all await a kingdom here....you all thing God has or had chosen ones....you all await a kingdom build with human hands and of material things....

God is sifting to see who follows man...a thing of Earth....and who follows Spirit, the Unseen.

We will have to wait and see what these forces are for, maybe the bulldozers and diggers move in tomorrow and they will need security?

I just got through reading it on that site - thanks.

In all honesty, nothing from this point forward is going to shock me, or most believers - it's all laid out in the Bible in a pretty much play by play commentary.

If our leaders are going to go against Israel, I'm glad I don't live in d.c.

You sound like one of those people that only want to hear about the good things in life - with no mention of the devil, or hell.

God loves you but regardless, His plans won't be changed just because you, or anyone else, doesn't believe in Him.

Just a heads up - when you die, you don't get to just 'stay dead'.

really...and you can prove that people just don't "stay dead"....there is no devil or hell...it's just an excuse to be used for horrendous human behavior. we are all responsible for our own behavior, and to blame it on some mythical being is like a child blaming his teddy bear for something he himself did.

jimmy, with all due respect to your opinion(s), this thread is not the place for discussing your reasons why you don't believe in Heaven, hell or God or satan.

There are other threads that would probably love to hear your opinion?

i.e. you are off topic

hopefully, the adults will step up to the plate, and reason will prevail. to engage in fearmongering and even encourage it, is so destructive, it borders on those that partake in it, to be gleefully sadistic.

I dont agree with the posters opinion or belief (the one you called a troll) but I find it very important to allow and respect others opinions in such threads.

The main reason I had to remove myself from a religion and the church was because I saw how the fear within it all was damaging my children.

Fear and hope are like oil and water...they dont mix.

Ill never forget my last day in church. It was the night my 9 year old daughter cried herself to sleep in fear of disappointing God. The idea she was not worthy of Gods love made me see how this was not works of God.

It led me to a new path...that I am so thankful to of found.

As much as religious people say they care and this is why they warn the masses.....

Is the same reason I speak out...and warn the masses of the distortion we have made of things that are Holy and Divine.

well, when the OP seems to be predicting death and destruction in the name of a "GOD", it's sad for me to see so many posters act like this is a spectator sport, viewing the growing rage over competing regligous doctrines, as if this does not have terrible consequences for people not involved and who are trying to live peaceful lives in that region of the middle east. with that, i will leave, and let you continue your mental masturbation.

I felt his postings were attempting to bait - and I felt I was his target. I wanted to nip it in the bud before it got out of hand.

In re to "religion" - God, nor His Bible, are about "religion". Religion is what satan, via mankind, has created to toss God and the Bible in together in order to further taint the Scriptures, as well as the true followers of God.

In re to the "church" - a church is a building, a man made building. Jesus taught out in the wilderness and other places besides a 'church'. The true 'Church" is God's Children, His followers.

Thank you for sharing with me.

Can I then ask you a personal question in your 'belief'?

Do you await the building of the 3rd temple for God?

My belief is this - if it's in the 1611 Authorized King James Bible, then it is my belief.

Do I "await" it?

I know it will be starting soon - and with that construction will begin the rest of prophecy that is to follow.

So yep, I "await" it. Had I been God, I would have sandblasted the planet centuries ago. Or at least when the first abortion was performed.

Actually, it is both happy and sad. Let me give you some perspective on this.
Amos 5:18

18 Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord!
Why would you have the day of the Lord?
It is darkness, and not light,
19 as if a man fled from a lion,
and a bear met him,
or went into the house and leaned his hand against the wall,
and a serpent bit him.
20 Is not the day of the Lord darkness, and not light,
and gloom with no brightness in it?

BUT, also this
2 Peter 3

9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, 12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! 13 But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

So you can see that the day is trouble for the World because it is judged already, but it is salvation for those that believe. We yearn for the age to come in whihc righteousness dwells. So it is both sad and glorious.

Ain't that the truth - at times I get so happy - then I think about it
and I get scared - then I'll get happy - but being human, I get scared
again - I'm like we are talking the END OF THIS WORLD AS WE
KNOW IT!

It's actually pretty humbling too though - I mean all of the generations
that have read the Bible, and all about the end days and prophecies.....
and here "we" are - the generation that, the way it's looking, is going
to witness it first hand.
