So what happens when we uncover a conspiracy involving an ATS advertiser?

I was just sitting here wandering if we are allowed to discuss conspiracies involving corporations who advertise here on ats. I know that the general consensus here on ats is that corporations are ruling the world and destroying liberty and freedom. Which I happen to agree. Funny thing is, none of them are above criticism. They are all rotten at some level if you dig hard enough.

So are we allowed to expose the very advertisers that put money into the pockets of the owners of this website?

Then they will shut you down and possibly you will be a target of assassination

i say just play it safe and don't bite the hand that feeds.

LOL when ever people start posting the truth of who funds/runs ATS and posting proof the thread quickly gets deleted and you get mods U2Uing you warning if you continue you'll be banned... try it and see.

Well, I plan on stirring up the pot by first finding out every advertiser who advertises here and then doing lots of research untill I find some information that the ats community would want brought to their attention. There are ALWAYS skeletons in EVERYONES closet and I WILL find them.lol

I would have more respect for the owners (if this is true) if they would just add a section which stated that we must not ever speak ill of an advertiser. I can't imagine that an advertiser would be too happy if there was a thread with 100 flags which exposed an ugly side to the practices of said advertiser.

I will star and flag this thread though as i have heard many stories first hand from friends and family and myself that you cannot get ripped in 4 weeks like the add says in the top right hand corner.

Last week i found it amusing that had a topic about Pizza Huts silicon cheese, sitting at the top of the right hand column, and right above it was an advertisement for Domino's.....

I might also add that those members on Bronze level and higher, may not see the adds that Apprentice and Solid contributors see.

I say just go for it. The owners of ats put themselves in that situation by allowing us to talk about evil corporations. It's not are fault if we are denying ignorance.

ATS already maintains an "annoying ad hitlist." So yes, I supposed if you found something unsavory about an advertiser it would probably be ok to talk about it.

Whats the worst that can happen. I think its our right to know if advertisers are doing bad things.

So let me get this straight - you believe "everyone" has skeletons in their closet and yet you have decided to focus specifically on digging up dirt on ATS advertisers. What does that say about you specifically and what your motivations are?

You know, some of us actually enjoy this place and find it tiresome, if not downright rude, that there are people posting here who are hell-bent on throwing mud on the very place that is so accommodating to everyone.

Turn up whatever you want. But you better be damn sure you're right. Otherwise, you're just another nuisance troll who can't stand the idea of anyone anywhere being happy.

I call nonsense. I don't think you'd recognize the truth if someone jammed your face in it. Deleting baseless and harmful speculation, especially when it's been addressed countless times, isn't anything more than taking out the trash.

You guys really need to focus on some real conspiracies, unless there's some reason you'd prefer everyone taking their eyes off the real issues and instead diverting to looking at the one place dedicated to uncovering the truth. Hmmmm?

There shouldn't be a problem here as far as I can see.
ATS should embrace truth and deny ignorance in all of it's forms, not just when it suits them and their wallets. And maybe they do, I'll find out. There should be no reason for the hostility unless you are worried that I will find something that threatens your a.) EGO or b.) wallet.

Either way, name calling and hostility are just some of the things I have come to expect from the childhood playground known as ATS. I do value this site because of some of the information I get exposed to that I would otherwise not have been. But, Sifting thru it all is tiresome when you have to deal with people like you who call names and get their widdle feewings hurt just like being in grade school again.

Suck it up buttercup. Change your diaper, get the binki out of your mouth and 'man up'. I only wanted to know if there is any hypocracy amoungst the owners of this site and we will find out soon enough. There shouldn't be anything to worry about......should there???

Perhaps you should have 'dug' around first before opening your mouth ? Then we mite not have heard from you at all !

There seems to be some speculation that ats was set up, run and moderated by the Department of Defense which is very interesting. What is also interesting is the way people rally around ats and circle their wagons when someone threatens to expose any unpleasant information about their beloved website.

Seems to me that we get the same reaction whether we are talking about websites, parents, or Governments. People have a defense mechanism that kicks in immediately and they violently oppose anything that would alter their deeply held firmly rooted beliefs about their Parent, Gardian, Country, Website, etc, etc.

Are you people even getting paid to defend something so strongly? Why not uncover the truth rather than get so defensive?
I for one would love to know more about this idea that certain members have exposed me to about ATS being run by the DOD. Am I the only one???
