I was so much happier when i wasnt looking at this crap, i want to go back to the way i used to be, Happy again.

Im finished with all this conspiracy brain washing nonsense. Again, can somebody tell me how to close the account. Thank you.

My advise?

Step back from ATS for as long as it takes and don't take what you read here too seriously, it can be a bit overwhelming if most isn't taken with a grain of salt.

Judging by your profile information and level of contribution I'd say you're a relatively experienced ATS user by comparison, to say, someone like myself.

I used to think ATS had an essense about it that separated it from other sites, but I fooled myself into thinking that. It's like any other internet shoite-hole, and any moron can contribute and say what they want.

If ever I were to offer you anything from a personal perspective it would be to live in the present and deal with what's in front of you and enjoy what's around you.

I'm a man of science, a civil/structural engineer, so my logic dictates alot of my thought processes, however, I always leave a tiny window open for the possibilitity that we certainly do not know everything about anything.

Probably haven't convinced you stay and keep some level of faith but reading with detached interest has helped harness my interest within the site but to a level where I'm comfortable.

Thanks guys, but i am serious i need to unsubscribe, i recently had a mental break down. No to do with conspiracys but some stuff thats goin on in my life at the moment, ive become paronoid, ive been diagnosed with G.A.D and depression.

I need to finish this, its not helping me.. I want to go back to the way i used to be.

I need to wipe the slate clean. please just tell me how to unsubscribe.

Hey ..it can't be all that difficult. Remove it from your favorites and never come back ...

Sorry to hear of your troubles.

Unfortunately you can't unsubscribe or delete your account, so if you want to leave and never come back, that's all you need to do.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but just don't log in here, how hard can it be? You don't need to unsubscribe, you just need to push the chair away from the puter & walk out into the sunshine! Too easy!

You're certainly not alone, but I'm sure at the same time you know better than to believe what you're saying here. I took a break earlier this year and it did me no harm. You're an intelligent guy, I know you'll find a perspective and get back here for the conversations that are worth taking part in.

Little things are beginning to show as more and more people wake up to this 'crap', and like myself when I first joined can be naive and single minded, so we read a lot of sh***y posts here, but for me its just testament to the amount of people who are looking for the first time behind the curtain. Forums like this allow people to discover and vent at a time that is difficult for them. When for some people old beliefs are questioned, or when new possibilities are emerging.

Conspiracy takes people out of their comfort zone, and occasionally bogs them down. Don't give up but do get out for a while.

Rage against the machine is Christmas no.1 in the UK... the people are speaking out, it's not changing the world yet but a lot feel its just the start. They know how you feel, and so do I.

I can understand you. To much people need to much energy for nonesence like "Hollow Earth" and "Paul McCartney is death". And sorry for all here, but the most time this discussions are not very intelligent. I think 80% of the posted stuff on TS is pure BS, and lost time.

I know the feeling mate, although i havent contributed much either i started by simply reading what others were posting and researching over other sites. The way i was feeling was due to people constantly putting cr*p posts on, repeated posts, and people that were constantly trying their hardest to make posts look fake. The majority of those on here have an open mind, but those that fall into the catagory of being complete ar*%holes should be kept away. Im mainly into UFO`s, disclosure,2012 etc but the thing is most of the catagories within this site all relate to eachother is some way. This ends up with me sitting swapping back and forth and ends up with my head totally battered. What you read sometimes makes u feel like youre losing your mind and does your lid in. Then someone goes and makes a post that totally makes sense and is another piece of the puzzle that youve been looking for. I came to this site because i had watched National Treasure film.
You may think this is stupid but after a few weeks of research (before i came here on ATS) regarding the film, the characters etc i had my internet cancelled completely also my satalite subsciption. I contacted them and they said they hadnt cancelled it had been cancelled by someone else and they were unable to reconnect me under any circumstances.
Since being on ATS ive learnt so much, through people like yourself, the links and through the experience that others who know where to look.
Yeah maybe you are getting sick, but people rely on posts that are constructive and point to a different area giving a view from a different perspective so that means keeping the members that have a better understanding here on ATS

I myself am an excessive worrier but have been a member of this site since 2003, in that time I have become aware that it is best to just take a break, which I have done several times. I seldom post and pick and choose those threads I take part in.

I've been here long enough to realise there are cycles of doom and gloom, where by nothing transpires to confirm the majority of speculation and prophecy that occurs here.

If you are unable to resist the temptation to come back regularly and feel you need to force the break, I advise changing your password by typing randomly on your keyboard, with an excessively long password (incl. numbers), obviously, ensure you do not make a note of it.

This will not stop you coming back to browse, but will stop you from posting any new threads or contributing, at least until you create a new account when you feel you can contribute again.

Send a U2U to the site owners or moderators requesting account deletion.

If that fails, send more U2U's to said persons but this time with graphic content of a sexual nature.

That'll ensure that you can no longer log on, like it or not.

the answer is simple, if you really want to get your account removed,


just post a bunch of things against T&C and get ban hammered...


other than that i say just chill out for a while, and dont burn bridges. there are a lot of normal people on here that help each other find truth.

Don't worry...like Chadwickus says, don't take it so seriously and it can't get to you.

Same happened to me about a year and a half ago and I gave it a rest for about 6 months. When I returned, I saw things here in a different light and no longer thought "wow!" when reading a breaking story or report but "lol" instead.

Have fun, enjoy your stay, and if it doesn't put a smile on your face or provide answers, don't worry.

ah well....I feel bad for your condition don't get me wrong but if people live their lives through the fear-mongering on this site then I feel awful for them
