a soul implies something that can survive
outside of the body. Consciousness cannot.
...you're proposing an n-dimensional matrix of universes, a mechanism for continuity consciousness to travel between universes, to survive the
annihilation of trillions of physical vessels and simply move to another roughly every 14 billionths of a second...
if you want to call consciousness a soul that is
intimately tied to the corporeal form
...but you're suggesting that consciousnes is "intimately tied" to corporeal form?
Isn't that sort of a peculiar way of looking at it?
If time is an illusion, and there are countless trillions of universes and consciousnes can pass amongst them...is it such a stretch to suggest that
consciousness might choose to experience universes non-sequentially? or...move than one at a time? Even if we assume that consciousness can only exist
in tandem with a physical form, with an infinity of physical forms available, and a convenient mechanism to swap between them, isn't that limitation
fairly irrelevant?
The awareness you're experiencing in this particular clone may be limited to the experience available within one single instant...but why assume that
all possible consciouss/awarenesses amongst the infinity of universes are similarly confined?
How does your model change if consciousness can become aware of the process, and choose the nature of its transit? Choose the nature of its
experience?
Are those "annihilated universes" really annihilated? Or is their "annihilation" simply a fancy way of saying that they're not being actively
observed? How do you know they're not being observed?
