The rocket separation is taken in the upper stratosphere correct? I'm not sure that qualifies as space. The sun also does not qualify as space, it is in space, but it is not space. The sun is not a vacuum it has an environment.

Now you're just being facetious. I never said it had an earth type environment.
Show us a video of a spaceship with flames coming out of it in the vacuum of space so that we may compare.

Your being obtuse on purpose, surely.
We don't have to prove this to you - you were in another thread where this was explained to you in great depth why there was no flame when the ascender launched. An initial explosion separated the bolts holding the two pieces of the lander together, after which an engine fired, launching the ship off the moon. There is no smoke or flame because of the fuel used. The smoke in the picture you showed is because the rocket is still in the, albeit rarefied, atmosphere.
Clearly it would help you if you learned a bit about things you find odd or confusing, before plastering ATS with post after post after post of you simply not understanding phenomenon millions of people around the world have no problem grasping.

Besides the missing flames who filmed the take-off of the Lunar module? I don't think this was filmed remote.

How many year later? How many beers later? How many times has this dead horse been beaten to death? We were there, me and the whole nation sat glued to the television and watched. It was all people were talking about.

Look at the 11-12 second mark and you will see your blast. Don't forget that the Moon has very little gravity compared to Earth and therefore does not need as much thrust to lift-off and enter orbit....

I think we went to the Moon, I'm just not entirely sure that we were told everything that they found there.
