Soundz like he was talking about Nibiru... Think you'd be up for getting ahold of him and asking how he knows about that? I really wanna know... especially when you consider the amount of LEGITIMATE science books that have been banned for whatever reason (generally, the books contained knowledge that the 'higher powers' ie: government, don't want us to know. Americans are basically serfs living outside the castle walls... we are kept ignorant so they can control us.

BTW, drunk... awesome avatar! I used to be 'satanist' myself (humanist), but now I am agnostic techno-humanist... still prescribe to his ideals, though

In time, yes.

Sitting and worrying about it though will solve nothing.

Go on with your life and live. It will come, in time. And at that time, if you are alive, there will be nothing you can do. It would be a waste of your life to sit and worry until that day comes.

rc-no asteroid is going to hit us anytime soon. there are too many people with too many telescopes. Check out NASA's website.

And shame on you drunk for scaring the beejeesus out of this kid.

Thing is that when you talk about stuff like this, you're talking about eons. The chances that we still exist on this rock when a planet killer comes along is remote. We're talking millions of years, and we've just started. I'd say, "don't sweat it man."

Hi rc.

As far as I know, there is no asteroid heading towards us. Of course I'm not an astronomer so what do I know ?

Actually, you've come to the right place if you want to know whats going on. The Governments of the world won't tell us, but ATS will !

But can you guarantee that they are all aiming in the right place ? - or that they haven't been 'got at' by the Governments ?

Actually, I don't believe the hype about Aussieman and his Oort cloud asteroids. It doesnt fit. However, I can't say the same about the Ball of Redemption. That seems too close to confort.

Personally I've always felt that this isn't something to be nervous about. We do have telescopes and satellites that are facing out into space. We know when meteor showers are going to happen right? I've watched plenty of those and they always announce when they're going to be happening. So, if we can pick up the little ones, i don't see why we wouldn't have advanced notice. An asteroid that would cause major damage would have to be pretty damn big and we could hardly miss that. As soon as word came in about something like that we could take some steps toward keeping it away. Maybe not destroy it but it is a moving object, you detonate a powerful device and maybe can alter its course to miss us? I'm sure other people have come up with ideas.

I also don't think a government would let this happen. You must remember the purpose of these people is to have power. Without citizens to lead, you have no power. Why let them all die?

Don't worry so much about this, we'll be fine.

Why don't you loosen up or screw the head on tighter. Maybe you can join a cult that's leaving for Mars or Venus, then you won't have to be so scared about a comet coming to Earth. Besides, what do you have to lose that's so valuable anyway?

I've been feeling a little freaked out too. I've written about it in my blog

(shameless plug for my blog coming right up)

blogs.abovetopsecret.com...

right now I'm trying to keep a cool head about it all and just enjoy each day as it comes. Whats the point in spending the rest of my life, however long that may be, in worrying about when it will end. That really would be a waste. At least thats the way I'm trying to look at it.

I honestly think that the reason we have not had a catastrophic world-decimating event since the dawn of mankind is: I think our own collective will to live is keeping it back. There is no other explanation. We're due. We're overdue. Since the fall of the dinosaurs, we were really due for some sort of extreme event. I remember reading something a scientist wrote that we were way overdue for some sort of cyclical world-shattering natural disaster (I think to do with climate), but that inexplicably, it never happened.

I believe we are creating our own reality, and that our Will is holding back total decimation by an asteroid or whatever. Doesn't mean we can hold it back forever. I think that if the balance of Darkness over Light tipped in this world in the hearts of humanity it would attract some sort of Apocalypse, because negativity attracts negativity. I think that was what Revelations was trying to tell us in a symbolic way.

I was just watching CNN and they were talking about the new movie The Day after Tomorrow.... they said about 6 months ago the Pentagon released a study saying these types of events could happen by the year 2020 including a World War 3 over food supply. Now that is just so reasssuring to me.

Yup, the pentagons report is scary. They seem to be figuring out that mass global changes are faster than previously thought. But, I am not worried, no reason to. All that worrying does is give you ulsers and bad days. If something like that would happen, there isnt a lot a person could do. Move twards the equator maybe, I can say that if we slipped into an ice age, that would be my first dirrection...south...lol But until something does happen, I am not worried, and as someone once told me, its not what happens, but how you react that counts. And in a situation like that....you move calmly and causualy to the exit. LOL
