Ha, I've be telling my friends that for a while now. Think about it, it would only take a few generations before the us v them mentality wouldn't be an issue, at least the racial part of the problem anyway. No one agrees with me obviously and I get the racial pride thing so that happening on a large enough scale to make a difference would be about as close to impossible as it gets. At any rate I like the idea and will do my best to make it happen on my end.

I agree with the op that the basic idea of a one world government sounds great, all of us working together for the betterment of mankind and all that. Unfortunately I agree with some of the other posters that our current power hungry leaders certainly don't need any more power/control than they already have. Maybe the people of the world could get together and overthrow their respective governments then we could start over with something brand new and the former elite would be forced to watch in cages, maybe we could put them in a zoo or something.

I think it's inevitable,just a question of when and how.

Now as soon as everyone agrees to follow me as the unquestioned lord and master of all humans we can get on with things!

This is why NWO is a BAD idea.

1) Governments are inherently corrupt. Get a really bad global government, and you will get Armageddon. Eventually, it WILL happen.

2) A one-world country/government would eventually destroy most if not all the cultural diversity on this planet.

3) One culture is going to dominate over all the others. And it WILL be Euro-American culture.

4) A OWG will be ruled by postmodern, random chaos, and will be a miserable place to live.

I use to be objective of the NWO because globalization has the potential to be a positive impact or negative impact. I've notice that the NWO is indoctrinating the idea of being cyborgs heavily, if endorsing the cyborg agenda is apart of their game plan, then they are on the path of the utmost evil.

Although I see your point of view and I am of that same line of thinking... The reason that NWO is seen with bad eyes, is because what drives them is not LOVE and compassion for humanity, they're not about one world, one love... They are about greed, power, money and control!

altho one world government means that when you are pissed of with your own government there`s no other country where you can immigrate. you will be stuck that way.

No one should be against the principle of nwo. But you cannot have it in a world where usa is blowing up weddings.

Anglo american empire wants this stuff, and they do not sacrifice for it.

The concept of a NWO/One World Order isn't one that I'm against, it's the people who are behind it and their intentions that I have a problem with. A One World Order has enormous potential for good but like with anything else, if put in the wrong hands it can be used for negative purposes. I truly believe that in order for the human civilization to evolve spiritually and technologically to the next level, a One World Order must be in place. We just gotta overthrow the corrupt governments first.

Because I want a choice. If I don't agree with the views of my government, I want the choice to be able to go somewhere else. Moving to another planet is not yet possible.

No one should EVER have that much power. Period.

I like what little freedom I have left. I like knowing that it is still a possibility that those of us here in the U.S. can revolt and go back the the constitution. Which brings me to the fact that I believe in the constitution and minimalistic government.

Could you imagine trying to overthrow a OWG if they became overly oppressive? Much harder to do than it is in individual countries.

countries have been joining together to form larger orders such as the EU or the US.
it makes sense that eventually because of technology advancements the planet will join together creating 1 planetary colony with a leader and global laws...this makes sense and seems like a good idea...at the moment countries are fighting between each other just like in history when cities would fight each other within a country.

so cities used to fight amongst each other...and finally would join together to form a nation.....then these nations would form together and things like the EU and US were created...so surely eventually we would have to join together globally to form a planetary colony??? i imagin that in the future (thousands of years) when humans will be a galactic civilization that eventually planets would join together to form galactic colonies....we are simply just moving up the scale becoming more advanced.

if everyone on earth could come together live as 1 civilization across the whole planet...with 1 leader and global laws...would life be better? if the world was united perhaps this would help stop wars? also wouldnt it mean people could travel to and live in any country they like? without restriction? just like anyone in europe can go and live in another european country freely because of the EU...it would be similar right? just on a global scale?

1 currency perhaps also...no need for exchanging currencies. (my opinion is that the monetary system is a terrible trading method anyway) but a global currency would be better.

i think that the american way of thinking (for the US to stay seperate from the such global orders) is what is bad...they are holding up the evolution and advancement of mankind technologicaly and colonialy. i think we would have to join together as a planet in order to advance into space...because while we are still seperated into sections on this planet there will always be issues between these nations.

the NWO doesnt have to mean big brother...global survailance...truth coverups etc etc...because these things will happen within our individual countries anyway.

am i missing something can someone give a simple explanation as to why an NWO is so terrible?

Silicis n Volvo, you are definitely missing something. You are correct however that a global government in it of itself is not necessarily a bad thing. It all depends on the motives of the people who are initiating it. That is what you should focus on in your research. Here is an excellent starting point:

One world government is good thing and it is next step of evolution , i am not worry about losing my national identity (honestly i dont give c... about it)

BUT nwo is pure evil

OK lets think of NWO simply in terms of a one world government - without all the conspiracy stuff associated with the term.
The OP cites many benefits of this arrangement.
However at the moment I see one main problem in that we have evolved with different genetic and cultural traits, customs and laws.. But with growing amalgamation, ie the European Union - I see myself being assimilated, Borg - like. And though it may be an archaic way of looking at things, I quite like having a national identity.
Take a simple retail analogy - do you like the way UK high streets have all begun to look the same?
The separation of nations also gives me choice. Such as the possibility of emigrating to somewhere with a totally different lifestyle and outlook.
Now some would argue we could keep our national identity. But I see it being eroded over time.
But the above is perhaps trivial compared to 'the biggy'. Which is that we can't guarantee that our one world government will always be altruistic and benign. Investing power in one central organisation is very, very dangerous. Centralised government is also centralised control.
And where would you go if your thinking became anathema to the state?
I think the idea of one world government is maybe something to aspire to. But I don't think humanity is ready for it just yet.

but its all good wanting to keep your identity (british, america, asian) whatever it is....but think long term with a one world government when inter-planetary travel is possible in hundreds of years time your identity will be humans...if we discover other intelligent life our identity is our species or perhaps the planet we come from instead of an individual land mass on that planet.

i understand about an NWO being bad with current governments and people in power...but with the right people in charge...i think one world government is the only way forward

Have you even stopped to consider how many people will have to die in order to successfully implement a NWO?

Do you really think that Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, US, UK, Switzerland, Germany, et al. are all going to agree on how this NWO should operate, whom the leader is going to be, and more importantly, what to do with the people that don't support such an action?

I could go on and on and the problems with any kind of NWO -- but the above should be concern number one.

Greed, corruption, and power are what is driving this movement. Any formation of a NWO will be designed to benefit those in charge.

Think of what is going on in the United States right now. The banks' CEOs bankrupted many Americans, Wall Street gambled with all of our money and lost most of it. But yet, who is taking home the largest paychecks? Ironically, those that caused many Americans to be homeless, jobless, and broke are now being paid millions and billions of dollars to continue the same practices. I suppose if you support the above, or happen to be a person making tons of money off of the suffering of others, than you should support the NWO. You better just make sure that if you do, you support it 100% -- there will be no halfway. One cannot dominate 6.6 billion people without major repercussions for those that don't muster up and fall into line.

I'm sure that there are some leaders united in this mission -- but in order for it to be successful, they would need 100% participation and 100% cooperation.

One can not have a NWO with only half of the world. Further, one can not control 6.6 billion people and keep them all in line without, literally, holding guns to their heads and/or withholding such necessities as food and water.

Is that the way you want to live?

OK -- but whom do you think is leading this movement? You have stated that our current leaders are "bad", but a NWO is the only method to securing a future -- you are completely contradicting yourself. Our current leaders are the very ones pushing for global unification.

Further, accepting a NWO in the hopes of interplanetary travel is a bet I would never take. Stakes are way too high -- payoff is a risky, uncertain, pipe dream.

Our best chance of travelling to other planets will come from people that are free to develop their own ideas without fear of persecution.
