More "things that make you go hmm"---The guy who is reporting this now claims the witnesses may have snapped off a PHOTO of the UFO:

"apparently, there was a picture taken of the UFO by my nephew's boss, but it came out somewhat blurry. we're still waiting to hear from the stepson and if they can send us a picture."

There is no way there are 100 tanks on the interstate.

I'm an ex-tanker, and whoever wrote this story is not only completely lying, but they aren't even a good liar.

#1. Tanks only drive on concrete roads, never pavement. If they drive on anything other than concrete, it will tear the road apart.

#2. Tanks don't have an extremely long range, and you never keep tanks on full fuel(ever see that guy go crazy with the M60?). You also do not keep any weapons on the tank, or ammunition. Ammunition has to come from an ammo dump. Fuel has to be put into supply trucks, tanks would need more than 1 fill up(just to get there). To even mobalize such a force would take atleast 12 hours, if not longer before anything could actually happen. Usually it takes atleast 48-72 hours, and that is for rapid deployment units. The nearest one would be in Texas.

#3. M1's are governed at 40-45mph top speed.

I could keep going, but I think the point is pretty obvious. Even 100 cop cars would be a hell of a feat, much less tanks.

There is no way in the world there are ANY tanks ANYWHERE near the place. If there are 100 tanks in that area, then it would be like the biggest military achievement in the history of mankind. That kind of deployment and such is about as realistic as an 80's action flick with guns that never run out of ammo.

Whoever wrote the hoax has no clue.

Folks, just to clarify one thing about this---The person reporting the possible UFO is NOT the person making the claim about the tanks. That was another poster. So we need to keep focused on the OP, real or BS, and not confuse the "tank" thing with the UFO story, as the original individual reporting this did not say anything about tanks being involved.

Ok, well whoever mentioned the tanks part is definitely full of crap. I don't know about the rest of it, but that part I know can't be true.

I'll wait and see on the rest of it and be open minded, although I'm skeptical for obvious reasons(not including the tanks).

Funny, i live in SoCal, there's not a word on Tv.
That would be the TV that covers Paris Hiltons court appearance live for two hours. That breaks into regular programing for every car chase and non event.

There is an ongoing war between the management of the two biggest conspiracy sites. I must say, Trinity the owner of GLP is a bit of a douch. It seems as though he made a bunch of money with spyware, and GLP is some sort of government data mining operation. It can be amusing however.

ATS allows for a more intelligent conversation however.

Pictures??!! C'mon with everyone that has a camera phone there isn't a single picture when a UFO landed on a FREEWAY?? I know UFO's and the paranormal exist, but this particular event seems fabricated.

All pictures especially the ones taken by "nephews" are blurry especially when it comes to UFO's. Guess they are still working overtime with photoshop to get it just right. I am looking forward to a real UFO someday but this does not appear to be that day.

I go to Vegas often on the 15 & you see a lot of military vehicles on & off road going to & coming from exercises around Ft. Irwin. I'm sure somebody is WAY over imagining this. The local media here would be all over it. I'm searching for a webcam around Baker but no luck.
