The anxious wait...

I just cannot wait any longer to tell all the Masons here on ATS how nervous I am as I await my vote in.

This is the culmination of a nine year journey to be accepted in. I now have a little over a week to wait to see if the vote will allow me in.

I await on an anxious and nervous mindset.

It took nine years for your decisions to join? Or nine years for them to decide? That seems like quite a wait...

That a long wait. 9 years to decide, or was it nine years to wait on a decision? I'm in a similar situation myself.
