UPDATE: Mikhail Gorbachev, now a New York Times columnist, today said:

We Have a Real Emergency

As the climate change summit meeting moves forward in Copenhagen, it is increasingly clear that more than just the environment is at stake. The global environmental crisis is at the heart of practically all the problems now confronting us, including the need to create a global economic model grounded in the public good.

It is directly linked to security issues and to increasingly dangerous ethnic and international conflicts; to mass migrations and displacements of people, which are already destabilizing politics and economics; to growing poverty and social inequality; to the water crisis and energy and food shortages.

Excuses and pretexts for not taking action on the environment, and assertions that there are more important problems, are simply no longer credible. If we fail on this problem, we’ll fail on all the others.

Saving our planet should be a task shared by governments, the business and scientific communities, and civil society. Each stakeholder in this noble cause has a role to play. The main burden of responsibility, however, lies with governments and their institutions.

Governments can set firm standards and norms that are indispensable to fighting climate change. Only the state is capable of mobilizing the resources and incentives to implement cutting-edge technologies. Only the state can help those who are the most vulnerable to climate change.

Representatives of governments are meeting in Copenhagen to open a new stage in international cooperation on climate change.

And now for some more 'classic' Mikhail NWO quotes:

“In October, 1917 we parted with the Old World, rejecting it once and for all. We are moving toward a New World, a world of Communism. We shall NEVER turn off that road.”

- Mikhail Gorbachev at the Kremlin in Moscow, Nov. 2, 1987

“Those who hope that we shall move away from the socialist path will be greatly disappointed. Every part of our program of perestroika…is fully based on the principle of more socialism.”

- Mikhail Gorbachev Perestroika – New Thinking for Our Country and the World 1988

“I am a Communist, a convinced Communist! For some that may be a fantasy. But to me it is my main goal.”

-Mikhail Gorbachev New York Times 1989

“Further global progress is now possible only through a quest for universal consensus in the movement towards a New World Order.”

- Mikhail Gorbachev, in an address to the United Nations, December 1988

“Gentlemen, comrades, do not be concerned about all you hear about Glasnost and Perestroika and democracy in the coming years. They are primarily for outward consumption. There will be no significant internal changes in the Soviet Union, other than for cosmetic purposes. Our purpose is to disarm the Americans and let them fall asleep.”

- Mikhail Gorbachev, speech to the Soviet Politburo, November 1987

Another 2009 column of his:

But clearer reference points are needed on structuring the system of global economic governance and on the group’s tasks. Crisis prevention should not be the G-20’s main task. What’s needed is a transition to a new model, integrating social, environmental and economic factors.

The second question concerns the G-20’s place within the system of global institutions. What is this group: a “global politburo,” a “club of the powerful,” a prototype for a world government? How will it interact with the United Nations?

I am convinced that no group of countries, even if they account for 90 percent of the world economy, could supersede or substitute for the United Nations. But clearly, the G-20 could claim collective leadership in world affairs if it acts with due respect for the opinions of non-members. The presence in the G-20 of countries representing different geographic regions, different levels of development and different cultures is a hopeful sign.

I will fight against anyone who supresses against the little freedom I have left, being a working-class citizen and all.
if I have to die fighting for such a cause, then so be it!

Let's hope the good people of this world find a well-rounded logical reason to accept this new world order.

He is a traitor to his own country for allowing powerful global interests to infiltrate and take over key resources which were once national property.

Cosmetically disguising ultra-capitalism with "democracy". The russian mafia and NWO are causing absolute havoc with their economy...

Nice work OP! Lots of research and resources all in once. S&F for your efforts.

The videos posted were all new to me, although I'm not new to the NWO idea by any means.

I think my favorite one of all time is Bush Sr talking about a NWO 10 years to the day before 9/11. Thats one of the more telling coincidences in this saga.
