Britain Pulls Plug on UFO Hotline, Will Use Funds for Afghanistan -

LONDON — Britain's military has closed a hotline that took reports of unidentified flying objects, or UFOs, after determining that the money is better spent in Afghanistan.

The officer who used to deal with the reports has now been reassigned.

"None of the thousands of UFO sightings reported over the years have ever provided substantiated proof of the existence of extraterrestrials," a ministry spokesman said. "There is no defense value in investigating UFO reports."

*There is no value? No proof of the existence of extraterrestrials? That is pure bogus propaganda.

I think they realize what value ET existence has...and I agree, some agency some where does either know the truth for sure and/or posses hard evidence of ET existence...but he probably doesn't...

so crafts of unknown origin flying over your most sensitive military facilities such as Bentwaters in 1980 isn't of defense value? What does it take to be of defense value? Does a UFO have to blow up a base?

"No defence value" probably means, if they decide to come , we have "No defence against them"

No ETs? What, you think we are the only thing in this huge vast universe? How's that? It's one thing to say ETs don't have anything to do with UFOs, it's another thing to say ETs don't exist, period, and we're the only "advanced" life form in the entire universe...
