The moons been acting pretty normal down south (Melbourne, Australia.)
It's a little bigger on the horizon and it likes a new shade of colour every so often.

I'll only be concerned when it turns blood red.

Well, actually, if I saw it plummeting to earth, umm, then yeah I'd probably be a little concerned about that too.

But at the moment I'm sleeping pretty well.

nearly everytime l read new thread on ATS that someone has put a link there are people disproving it because they read it somewhere on the net and for that reason it gets debunked. If this rule was used constatntly there would be no new discussion as we have pretty much covered every subject.Just cos it on the net dot mean it possible or crediable.

Oh so in that case then any 'evidence' you present to prove that us doomsayers are wrong is also false and not credible yeeeees? ...

actually if its not the moon, then there's definately something wrong with the SUN, and I noticed that without reading anything anywhere.

The sun is too high at times, to bright at times to white at times. So is our weather. In South Florida of all places it hasn't rained down here in a while!

Common Sense and weirdo are generalizing things way too much here.

There has not been any DEBUNKING because nobody has disproven it, its just that nobody has noticed something so subtle as the moon being in the wrong place at the wrong time, UNLESS you really DO follow the moon and have a chance to stay up way past your bedtime before work, or set your alarm clock to the time the moon should be rising.

Something tells me CommonSense and Weird are disinfo agents.

But anyways, does someone here follow the moon for real?

Here's an interesting article I think you all should read: www.rumormillnews.com...

i've noticed one thing with the moon for more or less the past week so far, i cant see it in the sky

maybe it's new moon, but that cycle only lasts three days

(i'm in South Africa)

one very simple way of tracking significant changes with the moon is through tides.

Check what the most reliable area predictions say they should be tommorrow morning, and then check what they actually are. Do this for a full low/high cycle, and report any discrepancies to the forum.

The moon is fine by the way.

QS, It's not a matter of over generalizing or debunking. The real point is that many of these threads are pointless. They're more like chicken little screaming the sky is falling. If someone wants to post about changes in the moon or the sun or the stars or whatever, fine, do it. But bring some observation and facts. Deny Ingnorance! Then we can have a meaningful thread. Nothing can be debunked until a difinitive position is taken.

Now I'm really curious. What kind of disinfo could anyone ever spread about something as huge as changes in the moon. I mean let's get real. Virtually everyone can measure and observe changes. It's not just the goveernment. I would really be interested in hearing what kind of conspiracy you might think this involves?

The moon is an alien observatory. Did you know that?

Its hollow and ejects water into space periodically.

Quite interesting really.

Hehe. This is actually just an illusion. For some unexplainable reason, the Moon often looks much bigger close to the horizon. But if you photograph it, and control measure it, you will see that the Moon is actually exactly as big or small both when it rises and when it is let's say in "the middle of the Sky". It may have to do with how we also understand distance differently when we stand on top of something looking down compared to when we look ahead or upwards. Looking down, five meters can look like a bottomless pit. But looking up five meters hardly looks high at all, and five meters ahead can seem like it's almost within arm's length. Think about if we were to have the same fear as we normally have for heights downwards -- upwards? You would walk around absolutely terrified of the sky.

Hahaha, NOW we are getting somewhere!

Thanks for the most opportune moment. Well as for observations I can only give links to observations done by OTHER people who ALSO give astronomical data.

One can be found here in our very own forums
: www.abovetopsecret.com...

Another on my last post

and these others I have searched for myself since you didn't bother first to look for info yourself yet you still insist on ridiculing such an idea
:

www.rumormillnews.com...
www.rumormillnews.com...
www.rumormillnews.com...
www.rumormillnews.com...
www.rumormillnews.com...
www.rumormillnews.com...

Now thats just on the first page of the Rumor Mill NewsReader forums, more can be found in the later pages.

Now, as for the conspiracy all this involves and just WHY would disinformation agents want to stop the spreading of this news, well, it's quite simple really.

The moon is in the right place, the sun is in the right place, its the EARTH that isn't. What is causing the Earth to tilt and wobble so much?

There has to be some huge object in the Earth's orbit that is about the size of my left nut (and that means it's REALLY HUGE!)
.

So what can such a large object be? An asteroid wouldn't be so big as to alter the Earth's orbit now wouldnt it?

Could it be Planet X? it's possible (I think it is), but it HAS to be a planet, because anything smaller than a planet doesn't have so much weight, and thus gravitational pull as to alter the Earth's orbit.

You see all these links that I have given, all the people who have been watching the SUN and the MOON have at least enough common sense to THINK about what could be causing this "battle in the heavens" between the Earth and the Moon, and why their orders are changing. Some of them beleive that REALLY soon we will be seeing exactly what is causing these changes.

If planet X or whatever planet seems to be changing our orbit is going to come closer, it can cause Earth magnetic field to alter dramatically (causing worldwide disasters), and it can also cause the orbit to slow down to a hault so that there will be one long day on one side of the Earth and a one long nite on the other. I think the bible has some text in it that has to do with these same exact occurences. So do the mayans, and the ancient texts and prophecies. So has some people's dreams here, I mean, It would be safe to say that all these things are there for a goddamn reason don't ya think!?

Now, wouldn't that be something that the government wants to keep hush about?

At this point this object which I beleive is close to Earth isn't close enough right now at 2:43 pm Eastern time to have any overt disastrous effects on our planet, but its close enough to tilt and wobble the Earth's orbit. So, it IS very close, but not close enough so everyone could see, but it will be getting very close very quickly and VERY soon.

Some beleive this would be tomorrow, some say it would be next week.

I am also both of these people, as it is up to the "right time" to decide exactly when it is best that this Planet will make its big debut.

I advise everyone here to use YOUR common sense, and not the one given to you by the social conditioning.

Common SENSE meaning, your 6th sense; intuition. Does reality feel "real" anymore?

Do you feel an impending akwardness about the environment around you? Do you feel like something HUGE is about to happen? If you answered yes, than you "KNOW" on a deeper level of your being that something is going to happen.

Well QS, You are still where you were earlier. In your above quote, that is exactly what the originator of the thread is expected to do. I didn't start this thread and I expect people to support their theory with fact. With regard to your "references" from rumormillnews, well, those posts have the same problem that this thread has, a lack of fact. Just because it's posted somewhere else doesn't make it fact.

As far as your statement ".... to look for info yourself yet you still insist on ridiculing such an idea..." I'm not ridiculing it. The thread and those who propose the "theory" ridicule it by not supporting it with fact. It's just as ridiculous as one saying the sky will turn purple forever starting 1/1/05. Why can I say that? Well quoting you "I advise everyone here to use YOUR common sense, and not the one given to you by the social conditioning. Common SENSE meaning, your 6th sense; intuition. Does reality feel "real" anymore?" So I guess I can say that because reality doesn't feel real anymore.

If you read he ATS thread you reference ytou will see it has exactly the same problems this one has. No fact. Following ATS guidelines, this thread shouldn't even exist since the debate should have been posted to that thread.

Besides, ATS does a far better job of policing itself than other online forums. And, I'm really hoping the members keep it that way!

That said, I do "feel" there is something pending for the world. My feeling is that it is more religious in nature. Take a look at this thread. www.abovetopsecret.com...
Could your uneasiness be related to the "Warning" of Garabandal? Very possibly. Now there's a discussion worth having.

Chemtrails!

And yes, the moon has been acting very strange lately. Why just the otherday I noticed that the man on the moon was wearing nothing but a bra and panties! WTF!!!!

At school, one of the teachers said that because we never actually landed on the moon, the moon maidens are a little P.O.'d, like "do you want a piece of me!," ony the piece got stolen out of a museum in the malt shop, and because the rotation of the earth has changed, none of your GPS thingies work properly which is why the bus drove off the cliff, and the moon was last seen practicing the "Maccarena" in the back of the book store. So yes, the moon has been acting strange lately, but not as strange as those people who could never be bothered to take an advanced mathmatics course or maybe a science class or two.

And where do you suppose "facts" like the ones you say would be spread? In the our user-freindly government monitored mass media like let's say CNN?

PLEASE! They are more busy talking about the "surface" of things like the "War on Terrorism" and the elections.

The links I gave are just as good as facts because these people have monitored the sun and the moon.

Is there a reason WHY you would be trying to be the board moderator's "sidekick"?

You are trying to impose authority when you don't even have any.

Please, you are not a moderator, so don't suggest what should or shouldnt be done to this thread. It has just as much credibility as yours, if not MORE because this thread is not about religious prophecies, these are actual observations of what is occuring in this present moment. Just like the government loves to do, justify war, disastrous future events and other things with a book called The Bible, or any other religious set of beleifs.

Why would we need a religious "prophecy" to tell us what is going to occur in a "place" called the future which is unknown in the Now?

But, before I go, I will say this.

In your thread about the prophecies, it states that there will be the warning. The Warning will be 2 stars in the sky that will "collide" but won't fall down.

I take it that means planet X, which will look like a big red star (planet X is also called the Sun's Dark Twin), will take it's journey across our day-time skies and eclipse the Sun, which will LOOK LIKE they are colliding but won't fall down, just as you say.

I know right!

It's funny to see people actually giving in so much of their precious time in making a huge effort to turn something like this into a joke, so we could all laugh at it until it actually DOES happen. (IF it does happen).

If it happens or not, it is no laughing matter. Neither is it something to be paranoid or angry, or sad about.

Just a state of alertness/awareness.

Here's a link that has some info on the Sun in our current times. www.rumormillnews.com...

Common sense, before "debunking" the links, think for once that people DO have our own minds, and don't need the suggested opinion of "all these links aren't facts so they hold no credibility" to decide for us whether they want to look at the links I have provided.

TQS, I realize that math and science are not for everyone. But, if you are curious about some aspect of the world around you, then you should at least attempt to gain some sort of fundamental understanding of the basic processes involved. That doesn't mean that you need to be able to calculate a mathematical model of the moons orbit, but it does mean that you should understand the basics of Newton's three laws of motion.

You should be able to conceptually grasp the scales involve (i.e. the mass of the moon, the distance to the Earth etc.)

You should be able to grasp the consequences of conservation of angular momentum.

You should know how modern high tech navigation systems like GPS work and how these systems are tied into the orbital/rotational mechanics of the Earth and the moon.

You should be at least be able to appreciate how many amateur astronomers there are out there world wide, and I am not even counting students, professors, and professional researchers. All over the globe, as in not under the control of any mysterious group.

If you don't know these things, one of the wonders of the internet is, enlightenment is often just a google away.

Yes I made fun of the topic, because it fails to stand up to even the most casual scrutiny.
