I was thinking along the same lines, I would really hate to see scientology a mainstream religion in years to come.

Maybe we are witnessing the birth of a new religion?

To me they are all the same brand but different flavours,and they taste real bad!

If one form of religion or self help doesn't work for someone that is totally fine.

But to have an organization based on wearing masks, and harassing people who, well, just want to do good for themselves is just as wrong as what they think they are fighting against.

I'm sure most of the people bashing on nearly everything that gets bashed has no idea about what they are really going for.

Living near hollywood, I pass by plenty of scientology run buildings and have never been harassed or pushed to do anything. I've been stopped at a red light when a few anonymous members passed by, and they were talking about dungeons and dragons.

I guess for the most of them, they just feel good about being part of something because they weren't picked to be on the kickball team.

Just know that with every religion or any organization there are bad people, and there are also good people.

Oh I agree, I am not saying he is not a cool dude he is, I also agree with the reasons behind why this started in the first place.

Just seems to me, proof has been shown, the Individuals within the Church of Scientology, are using the Police to erode Individuals rights to free speech. Cult, Evil, Brainwashing is not classed as offensive in the UK. Although it seems the Police those whom have been berated with gifts from that Church are trying to say it is. In each case or Court Summons issued by the police, the case has been thrown out of court or dropped by the CPS.

What the Police are doing is scare tactics. Putting the fear in to 15 year olds with the threat of arrest of those such words, it is petty and childish.

Anonymous has really failed in their "war" effort. It has led to more members of anonymous being arrested than it has caused damage to the church. One of the reasons being that it is hard to go around crying about the crimes of scientology while anonymous breaks the law with their web site attacks and gathers on a website that has gained a reputation for having members that use it to share child pornography.

An you have proof that Anonymous users are using Child Pornography, I stated whenthis Topic was opened no deflamatory remarks were to be made. If you have no proof, then remove your comment or I will involve a Moderator.

It is when you post accusations without proof, this is why people criticise the Church of Scientology.

This is an open honest dicussion, not a slaggin match. Take it else where.

Where as I don't agree with the way Scientology conducts itself, Anonymous threatening them isn't going to help, although the vid was quite cool. Especially if they have threatened fire bombing etc. This is not the way to do things, at least IMO. You treat the cause, not the effect, people shouldn't suffer for their beliefs.

From what I have seen of Anonymous, they are a banner to stand under. They are the individuals way to have it's voice heard, nothing more than a title. You agree with what they are protesting (And HOW they are protesting)? Then join in a few rallys, maybe even organise one yourself under the banner, how about a video? At least I think anyway.

Anonymous is potentially anyone and everyone. Humanity as a whole, the good and the bad.

"If you see as I see, if you feel as I feel..." and all that jazz. I love those masks, so cool.

Any proof that the police are being "used" by scientology or does just the fact that police have arrested people mean they are being used? I mean after all

As for the police, The Metroppolitan Police were policing the demonstration in London in the mornign they had no prolems what so ever with the protestors an no complaints whatsover, from anyone with regards to the word CULT being used.

When the City of London Police took over inthe afternoon, all of a sudden there were complaints! Odd is this not the Police organisation berated with thousands of pounds worth of gifts from the Church of Scientology? Very Sinister one would think.

You can try and stop people from protesting all you want. At the end of the Day it is the Courts whom have the final say. And every time that case is thrown out.. The Uk Judical System knows what Scientology is trying to do by getting police officers, to threaten, and arrest 15 year olds over the use of the word CULT.

The word Cult is not illegal to use inthe UK nor is Brainwashing, nor is Evil.

I have seen no proof that the church brought down the 711 site. The article you posted was called

Which is not what the article was called and is not what happened according to the article you posted.

But within minutes, users began complaining the software was crashing and others analyzed the traffic and found that the IP address didn’t belong to the Church of Scientology, reporting that that the software was actually targeting a school in the Netherlands.

So they performed an attack on a school and the church did not take 711 down.

You can try and stop people from protesting all you want.

That is a strawman argument i have made no mention of trying to stop people from protesting.

And that is just a factual error. You can't really make calims on what the UK judicial systerm knows based off cases that are thrown out.
