news.yahoo.com

FORT WORTH, Texas – An Army psychiatrist was charged Wednesday with 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder in the deadly mass shooting at Fort Hood that also injured more than two dozen soldiers and two civilian police officers, military officials said.

Maj. Nidal Hasan has already been charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder after the Nov. 5 shooting in a building at the Texas base where soldiers must go before being deployed. WHAT???ATTEMPTED MURDER???? YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING RIGHT???? I mean this guys goes in and shoots people to death, and not by accident..This is the worst case of political correctness I have ever seen...EVER To not charge him with murder is a crime in itself...What i mean is that i believe he was not charged with Murder because he is a muslim and that might offend some people. Or charging him with murder and having him executed would make him a martyr and they wouldn't want that!!!

What do you mean, he's been charged with murder, and now also attempted murder.

Am I misreading here?

Could be a problem with having ALL the facts. You mold a prosecution around what you think you know you can prove. No personal opinion involved on my part, that's just how the law works, and should work.

If the evidence is there for slam-dunk murder charge, it should be a forgone conclusion....yes?

Peace

Yes, but he's already being charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder. The OP is a selective reader, saw attempted murder in the headlines and made a very emotional and highly illogical thread.

Why?

Because having two separate charges is too confusing to a person who can't read more than one sentence of an article?

They should do a laundry list on this guy. Charge him for every round that left the barrel of his gun. Then weld his ass into a cage, suspend it from the ceiling, and don't let him out till his bones fall out on their own.
