Lots of bad cops in Michigan. When I lived in Lapeer, the same three families had controlled the judgeships, police, and sheriffs for four generations or so. The Lapeer cops would pick someone they didn't like up in a bar or off the street on a weekend night and take them to the reserve (a state park) and beat the crap out of them, then bring them in for "resisting arrest". Happened all the time, everyone knew it, but no one could do anything about it: those families had the "justice" sytem locked up tighter than a drum up and down the line.

A guy I knew was framed and sent up to the state prison where he was gang-raped while the guards watched. He was freed on appeal, but none of those responsible were ever punished, and his life was utterly ruined.

So any number of reasons could exist for this. And if you go with the probabilities, those cops were bad.

Perhaps if cos don't want the rest of us to jump to conclusions about them, perhaps they shouldn't be so quick to jump to cinclusions about us, and treat people a little more decently when they interact, instead of being overbearing arrogant pricks every time.

Banned for an opinion.. Sounds so Germany in the 30's around here sometimes... Give it a rest and ignore the person if you don't like it. Cops are human too and can be some down right dirty pricks.

Nobody deserves to be executed without a fair trial, including corrupt cops. Having said that I believe in the death penalty and I hope that they catch the perpetrator(s) of this crime and sentence them to death.

Substitute "black" for cops, or "muslim", "women", or any other group. Some sick minded people come out when they get to hear this--they stop thinking, they just rejoice in their prejudice of a group the don't like being killed to satisfy their hate.

It sounds like 3 male one female police/humans were killed. As far as we know, none have tasered anyone illegally, beat their kids, shot at kittens, spit at old ladies, or any other thing wrong. But I guess those lacking humanity and rationality can imagine what they want to justify blowing away people in public.

Personally I think the tone of your posts are abhorrent. But, you have finally posted something interesting with some subtance. It would be very interesting to follow up on this and see if the officers shot were indeed the officers involved in the taser incident.

Even if it is found that they are the ones, that doesn't justify the taking of their lives.

This thread is really long and, to be honest, most of the posting on this sight are infuriating, so sorry if this has been said already.

On the first page several people were debating whether this was the start of "something big." Anyone who lives over here has heard about the Halloween shooting of a cop in Seattle that was under very similar pretenses. They caught the guy much later and there was a violent shootout leaving the suspect.........drum roll........dead. I absolutely see the start of something big. Not to mention the ongoing drug war in Vancouver.

So you want everyone to have a fair trial but you want these perps caught and executed? So you are passing judgment without a fair trial huh?..

What if these gang of four killed this persons loved one and got away with it in a cover up? My little bit of research today shows that Lakewood is a very corrupt police force and you are passing judgment without doing any?

The more I learn the more I feel these cops got what was coming to them... Sounds like they got a very corrupt police force down there.

No matter what the circumstances are surrounding this case, 4 people were murdered.

I have a sinking feeling about this case, on a personal level and could speculate about it... But in the end this was a cowardly ambush and brutal murder.

Jump much? How can there be any good cops when they refuse to follow our constitution? I don't back it, but I can see the powder keg that has been made by repeated incidences of police brutality.

As a lot of other people here have said, the good ones exist, but I think they're more than likely outnumbered by the bad ones, and the good ones don't do anything about it making them just as guilty.

They're also the enforcers of the elite, and I find it irritating and frustrating that they don't even understand what they are doing, like in Pittsburgh, these people are breaking their oath, they don't serve the constitution and therefore they are YOUR enemy.
They're the useful idiots, helping their (real)enemy strip their own rights away, it would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad and alarming..

That's how I see it..

I've taken my fair share of crap from the police over the years, and I know most of them in my area are power mongering assholes.

I will NEVER respect them or their work, they're cowards hiding behind their badge and their gun!
They beat up and tazer defenseless people, old people, children, women, mentally disturbed people.. there's no point they wont cross.
And when they do it, there's usually 10 of them piling up on someone beating the crap out of him with batons.

And that's if they don't just shoot em.. sometimes they even empty several mags into people...
I have to stop writing.. I'm getting too worked up.

But before that I will say, that I feel sorry for their families.

Is it ok to say I think all white people should be killed or all Jews? Is it ok for me to say all children should be tortured? That your mom and family members deserve to be....yeah I won't go there, but I hope you get the point.

I can't even imagine how sick and twisted you could go to "defend someone's right to speak". Yeah I hate politically correct, but I hate irrational hate just as much.

Right now there is nothing wrong that the cops did...no reason for killing them, yet someone seems ok with that. Sorry, our world, laws, and humanity doesn't work like that. If your own hate is enough to justify killing then sign up for the Nazi party.
