Lots of new data, so far I've found 3 textures with good views and some life signs.

Hey MoB matey, I don't have google as my systems to slow to run it any length of time, So please hence forth with the pictures if you may, Thank you....

I was checking out somf of the newer images on NASA's site and found a beer can and many other interesting items. The beer can I believe was from opertunity. I cropped a closeup but would have to research what image it was from. A current one for sure, within the last month.
I'll upload the crop when I have time to find and credit the original it was from

Found something that looks a bit different in that strip go to 22°37'18.59"N 18°12'42.10"W do not know what it is but its got a rounded top.
Could be nothing or its just too hard to make out nice pics anyway.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I downloaded Google with Mars just because I wanted to check it out anyway, but it took me forever just figure out how to find coordinates.. and what I ended up doing is adding a really big "placemark" on the coordinates and just looking for it. And when I put in the coordinates you posted, all I saw was average Mars ground. And it doesn't seem to be the same as the picture you posted. Now I'm frustrated and hating Google Earth Mars. And I don't see a ship docking in your picture either. I'm irritated by this stupid Google crap. They screwed up my Google page, too. lol

Gee, sorry to hear about the problem there.

Did you update or download the newer version?

When you goto the coords, do you land on an unidentified texture?

Maybe you might try hitting update check anbd then you will see the unidentified texture popin.

ok, I got it, looks like a cone shape under the rounded top, almost like a funnel.

Lots of weird stuff. Tip: try setting your pov to east. You might notice better detail
