Have you ever read a reply to a post when someone says "I hate people" who are saying whatever the OP is saying. People call others ignorant more than they compliment their original thought. What is it with members on this site always being critical and degrading? Why is there so many relpies that mention negative criticism with no positive insight on how to locate a truthful path? And lastly WHAT makes members feel they are sooo qualified to tell the next member that their current conclusion or state of mind is crap and they are stupid or ignorant? This is a conspiracy in itself.

I dont know any of you personally and this is not an attack on personal character, but it seems that a lot of people are self righteous and ignoring the fact that we are not all at the same level in our search for truth and because you disagree does not mean that you are God of the posts and can belittle others you feel are inferior in thought. Well... actually you can, but in my opinion it does nothing for the good of the soul. Nothing to teach about the actual enemy and again, in my opinon, makes you appear to be apart of the enemy.

If you are one who is so negative and thinks you know soo much about everything you are apart of the problem. If you can debunk everyone and read everyone and you cant stand those who do things that you feel are stupid....you are apart of the problem. The problem is the enemy. The problem is the hurt, the pain and the evil and when you spread hate, you are the enemy, you create the hurt and the pain and you are definitely one with evil in your heart.

Lets post and reply to help eachother not hate eachother. I am not in the mood to debate with people who tell me I am stupid and ignorant because I am concerned for the futures of our children. If your hateful, then your problematic to our mission.

I will bite on this one. Lets look at the average responses of most threads on other sites and compare them. Most are far more snarky and even strait forward mean spirited in intent. For those that i find to be above and beyond in mean intent I don't respond, I don't ask further questions, and I don't worry about them. No matter what, these folks will always exist and even thrive in internet chats, discussion, forumns, and other internet media. But you have to admit it can be frustrating for individuals pursing answers to have the same questions asked, the same hoaxes pushed as evidence, and the same unprovable assumptions presented as fact. it drives people to short and terse remarks. If they don't like what is said they have the right to remark on issues in whatever manner is allowed but those that don't agree with those peoples sides have the right and privilege of ignoring them. the greatest weapon against an internet troll is the lack of acknowledgment.

Absolutley. I choose to act on my right to tell them how I feel. I wont ignore any problem. I take pride in my voice and I use it. I do acknowledge them because they need to be noticed.

Exactly. What is this kick they get? What high do they attain when they type fast words of discouragement? Its as digusting as being a crack addict. They are addicted to hate. I love them. They hate me.

As much as I would like to hold hands and sing songs through the night, I have to say it's just human nature to act in a cynical manner toward everything, including ourselves.

As much as we want to aspire to rid ourselves of these complexes, as much as we want to become enlightened, we can't leave these traits behind. We are human, not anything beyond that.

Even the enlightened among us speak words of what a common man can spout. The difference is no one will listen to the common man because of his credentials. Unknowingly, or perhaps knowingly, we're always going to discriminate without reason.

Just as long as each one of us means well, then it shall show itself. Truth is, not one can know all, so therefore the people that act all high and mighty need to get down from their figurative pedestal.

let me just start by saying, i think you're right OP, this is a good thread.

there's a certain level of negativity in telling someone they are "a problem" because they tend to be negative, but i think it's just symptomatic.

we live in an information age, we spend a big chunk of our work and leisure time involved in processing information.
a lot of this information is fairly negative.
neurologically, our brains tend to strengthen the most used pathways in our pesonalities and the mind tends to act like water and use the easiest path when reaching a conclusion.

because we process so much negativity, our mind tends to process everything through a negative filter. our first question about any information is "what's wrong here, how will this harm me?"

it's a very depressed way of thinking. i find i need to correct myself a lot because i'm assessing things negatively rather than realistically. it's so easy to slip into.

Sadly the more time people spend behind a keyboard at an office or at home their social skills errode.

But there are also the down right nasty, who are not open minded and spend there time preaching their point of view and are not open to debate. I am new here but learning a few names quickly on who is worth reading and who I skip.

They do it to make themselves feel better about themselves. If theycan make themselves look like they are superior then that usually makes their day.

Though I do understand there are alot of out of wack forums, I feel that everyone makes threads based on what they think is right, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Just how I feel on the situation.

Perhaps the moto of ATS should change to deny intolerance instead of deny ignorance.

This moto deny ignorance makes people feel as they are not part of the ignorance, it evokes arrogance. We would all have to agree on what is ignorance to make the moto truly efficient, but of course we do not, few even know exactly how to describe what ignorance is.

It doesn't help the community. You are right, this is a conspiracy in itself and ATS the mother of conspiracy in the internet helps to propagate it.

Good topic.

Over the years I learned that it's not a good conspiracy unless people ridicule, scream, flame and insult you for talking about it.

When people do that then you know it was a job well done.

Looks like I did a good number on you then when I politely and plainly showed how you were factually incorrect on a subject:

I had a good laugh at your level "Truth Knowledge" you fit in well here on ATS with others that are just now finding out in the year 2009 that the government is corrupt.
Now go cry about Obamas health plan or something with the rest of retards that think their vote counts.

Hypocrisy, much?

I guess the above demonstrates that we view the points raised in the OP differently depending on which coloured spectacles we are wearing. Ego driven self-righteousness is usually far from correct and only creates resentment.

Get to the back of the line and join the others that don't agree with something I said on ATS.

I have probably added to the problem at one point myself. So with that in mind, bear with me.

Here's my point: Now, with your current thread, you can see the differences between people here on ATS. There are so many different ages, ideals, and beliefs (or lack thereof), that its hard to distinguish between someone who's being truthful or facetious.

Seems like every members own personal views are the only correct ones.
No room for other thoughts.

The "I'm right, you're wrong" mentality.

What did you expect. ATS is a sewing circle. Everyone has great ideas but no one is willing to act.

Wow, I appreciate being told by some quasi-anonymous poster that, I am part of the problem. It's a tad ironic. I recall something about stones and glass houses.

No! You're part of the problem!

You must be totally ignorant if you think I'm part of the problem because I know better than anyone.

F'd and the S.

Some people are blinded by science. Meaning, any theories that venture out of conventionally held beliefs don't even register on their radar. There are plenty of things that science can't explain, but offer vague and sometimes absurd explanations anyhow. For an example, see the explanation for how Evolution SHOULD work. Even Darwin admitted that, his theory was flawed. He know that either, human beings shouldn't be as advanced as they were when he lived, or we should have hundreds of thousands of years more history.

The thing is this site is about debating conspiracies and so you cant have a debate without opposing opinions. There are some people on this site who really know there stuff and have done their research and there are people who havent been here long and dont know as much as others or are perhaps misguided with their information. I must admit when I see ufo footage I will try to figure out if its real or not and if I think its fake (which is often the case) I will let the OP know about it. But not in a nasty way. But you see many people will say Im raining on their parrade and that I know nothing and should keep my opinions to myself, but thats not helping anyone is it? The reason why I try to debunk footage is because I happen to have a degree in computer games design so I do a lot of CGI and know how it works and my eyes are trained to spot it. We need to take into consideration that there are people in this site that are specialists in particular areas whether they are a doctor or a researcher in secret societies who do know their stuff and I would hate for these people who do know what they are talking about to keep quiet in fear of rustling some feathers because we should all learn from each other to gain wider knowledge. Anyways this site is very tame compared to others, I go on video games forums and believe me they are far far worse. So if I get my facts wrong about global warming or the freemasons then tell me about it! dont be shy because we should all learn from each others information and research.

I generally agree with the OP...but...and this is important. "A PART" and "A LOT" are two words, not one!!!

There is a difference between truth and reality.
Truth lives in your heart, reality is external and objective. Many of the topics here simply cannot be verified (yet?) with external objective measures thus we live with our own truths. Sadly some will always be sure that their truth is the only one and feel compelled to try and get more believers.

I think somehow acquiring more believers helps some people validate to themselves 'truth' that they are not really that sure about.

If you really have completely found your truth the nastiness will bother you a lot less.
