someone to blame?

imagine a hypothetical situation that suddenly all that was hidden comes to light. And it turns out that there are no extra terrestrials in contact with earth, that freemasons are just members of the public practising ancients rituals that they don't understand, that the illuminati stopped existing years ago. You discover that the US government has no secret agenda - that it is comprises simply of the good, the bad and the incompetent - all either trying to do their job to the best of their abilities or covering up the mistakes they made because they were human. And that god is just something we created to explain the things we can't quite grasp at or don't understand - still a wondrous and beautiful mystery but no longer a figure descending on us like the calvalry in a war film to wage judgement, destruction and salvation on us.

remember - hypothetical situation. I'm not claiming to have evidence either way on this.

So suddenly it's just us people, on our own with the consequences of our past and the choice over our future.

Who are we going to blame then?

Blame for what?

everything that is currently being blamed on aliens, masons, illuminati, god, the anti christ, shadow governments, even more secret societies, pixies....

Personally, in that scenario, I would blame overactive imaginations.

They'll come up with the Great Puppet Master Cabal who's really behind all of this, making it just LOOK like you found out the truth.

We New Zealanders will blame the Australians...Americans can blame Canadians...and I guess Britons can blame the Welsh or the Irish...

...don't worry...still plenty of scape-goats to choose from...though that Puppet Master Cabal is the one pulling ALL the strings don't you know...

It is human nature to blame.... the simple act of assigning blame means that the blame belongs to SOMEONE ELSE, therefore, YOU ARE NOT THE ONE TO BLAME. However, just because it is human nature to blame, regardless of if blame even exists, does not eliminate the fact that there certainly are those who have the power, the will, and the interest to orchestrate actions and chains of events to thier own benefit, largely to the detriment of others.

seriously can`t understand why you ask this we are to blame as a race no one else, you could try and pin the worlds problems on the lions or whales but I don`t think it would stick.

It does n`t make any difference if there is a conspiracy or not we, as a people, have the capabilities to do what we desire and sort the world out. If there is a conspiracy we can get rid of it and if there is not we can make the world better sooner
