To answer the O.P. , I've had many black friends, and almost every single one of them believes in multiple conspiracies. Black people are way aware. They just don't usually share their thoughts with white people. They kinda talk amongst themselves about it.

You would be surprised what the older black men know too. If you think about it, it sorta makes sense the black population is cautious of Government. And I know tons of "patriot" black men. Trust me, they're out there, just not too vocal. White people seem to just talk about it more.

Where as I believe the OP is referring more or less to the "african american culture" and not so much skin color, I do know people from all sorts of cultural backgrounds who are into conspiracies. The most involved people I know outside of ATS align themselves with the latino culture. Its really just a matter of taste.

I have a good friend who is black, always has been.

We were sitting around talking and I asked him if he believed the earth had been visited by aliens.

He looked at me and said yes, you white people are not from here.

Most posts I read, I imagine the writer to be a white guy somewhere in his 30's. Why do I think like that? It's surprising to find out that the writer was actually a woman or other times, older men. Here in Canada being black is a very different thing from the US. The first large group of blacks came here during the Civil War through the Undeground Railroad.

A small percentage of the population they didn't go through the heavy discrimination thing like in the Us.

Now most blacks here are Caribbean - the British colony connection. Jamaicans, Trinidadians. Their won problem but they don't have the same chip on their shoulder attitude.

I've seen the stats on black Americans believing most of of the dumber conspiracy theories. Pretty disturbing.

American blacks believe every conspiracy under the sun about Jews. They run the world, banking, intorduced AIDS to kill the black man, did 911, etc.

A reflection on their hostility, paranoia, ignorance - sadly.

I have had many black friend from a dozen parts of the world - Europe, Africa, South America. Like the people - don't care for the cultural back story they usually carry with them.

Thanks for the concern. I should have done some PC wording like "the collective black experience in Canada differs somehwt from that in America.
