Someone said "pannel reflection" of the rover.
But I'm not sure.

Last pic is a cover for the cam and equipment..
Plain and simple...

And to be honest, mars once had thriving ecosystem but also
vulcanic activity..If you look at vulcanic matter it can take some
strange shapes. And with vuclanic activity comes bombardmet of
rocks in ALL sizes and even shapes..

I want it to be otherwize but i dont think these are anomolies
towards alien lifeforms..

Those are the rover's panels, both hazard camera is below the panels, not on top of the mast as the navigation and panoramic cameras, as you can see in the following image.

I am not referring to the shadows from the panels........I am referring to the items at the top of the photo. It is not a panel. and what are the evenly spaced markers on the ground to the left and right of the object at the top?

I know you are not referring to the shadow, but that is a clue.

What is projecting that shadow? The panels, right? Where are they to project that shadow, if, judging by the shadows of the rocks, the Sun is high in the sky? They must be above the shadow, right?

Look up and what do you see? The panels.

Thank You for the understaning of the picture. The animation posted by Phage makes perfect sense, as well as the other explainations.

ArMaP, Heres the original NASA material, showing what I see as a pipe, or tunnel, along with my 'sentinels'

And this is the same are, but in the new, B&W NASA picture - on the website it says that's where they are trying to head spirit towards

Hope that clarifies things a bit!

Ice I can see things that most can not see and in this photo there is what I

call a walking head as plain as day with large head 2 arms and 2 short legs.

There is a Blue Sentry and a cyborg as plain as day. There are hieroglyphs

or symbols in the background. Most will not take me serious but this photo

will make history remember I see both in the 3rd as well as 4th dimension.

There are many other anomalies and lifeforms in this particular top photo.

The human eye has a hard time distinguishing these lifeforms but they are

positively there and have been missed by most. I will have to attempt to

draw them for humans on Earth can see what they look like on Mars and

there exact position in the photo.

What most humans from Earth do not realize is NASA had to teach the Rover

Sojourner to distinguish what it was looking at thru the camera on the

surface of Mars as it was moving. They taught the Rover to distinguish

between cyborgs, lifeforms, fossils and rocks from photos from the Viking 1

and 2 missions. I know how they did it and have seen the photos used by

NASA. Life is abundant on Mars do not kid yourself. First ice then water then

life. ^Y^

Possible UFO wreckage photographed by Mars rover Spirit, image

7 December 2009

NASA researchers are said to be intrigued by an image (seen above) taken by the Mars exploration rover Spirit sometime this year between May and June. The image, in which one can see an unusual semi-circular formation, shows what some believe might be the wreckage of a UFO or possibly some type of UFO engine part, adding weight to the notion that Mars has been visited or is currently being visited by aliens.

Had to edit the link.

Wow, did this guy just steal this story from this site? Or did the thread originate from something else? Just came across this article. It's date and the date of the thread are obvious.

That site is known for using anything they can to get people to read it. Most of what they publish is at least unsubstantiated, at most a complete hoax.

Edit: that's why your links doesn't work, the site's address is blocked on ATS.

Thanks Armap. I thought that it was strange about the link. Now I know why. It looked to me like the guy skimmed through the thread and came up with the article. Thanks again.

I don't think he stole the picture from here - it has more information, sizewise, then the cropped image I originally posted.

I found the page its on yesterday, surfing - and I have emailed the guy asking what he knows and how!

I can assure you, however, that the pictures I posted were my own, independent discovery, posted only at ATS, and not sourced from elsewhere. I wonder if it would be worthwhile checking to see if the original source material is still available, and un-retouched?

When I started this thread I stated that I wasn't claiming anything for any of these pictures, just expressing what they suggested to me. Nevertheless all the 'kneejerk reactors' immediately come crawling out of the woodwork, so I backed off and left them to it.

Theres a lot of people who find this whole subject too scary to actually stop and think about it, apparently.

Now the threads a bit older, and I have had a bit longer to study the pictures, I am convinced that the 'pipeline' is exactly that - it sticks out like a sore thumb, and whats more, I have found lots of pictures of 'von braun', the hill it emerges from, but they are all of lower quality then the original, and some are DEFINITELY doctured, or cropped, to obscure the case in point.

Von Braun and the crater Goddard are in interesting formation in their own right - erosion has created some really odd shapes on mars.

I would really like to see a higher res picture of that area, to prove to me that I am wrong, and that it is just a 'ridge'. In the meantime, heres another shot of it - copy the picture to your desktop, enlarge it, hold a straight edge to it
Still think its natural?

Whatever happened to open minded research?

It doesn't matter either way, fact or trick of the light, the accumulating evidence shows we are not being told the truth, and yet TPTB can get away with it, because so many people don't actually want the truth, its too upsetting to their safe little world view.

That just leaves people who are prepared to think outside the box and be prepared to actually EXPLORE the possibilities, and perhaps even ponder what may seem impossible.

Lets hope there are enough of us left!

Yeah, Kinda odd for a rock, eh?

May be just the way its eroded, but it boggles the mind to think how it got that bent effect too!

Have you heard about "ventifacts"?

Erosion can happen in many unexpected ways.

Yeah, I know what they are, and without closer inspection this is a moot point, I reckon.

But I think I can see straight edges on the uplift - really doesnt look smooth enough to be erosion to me. In fact the back part looks hexagonal.

How about the pipe and the sculpture - how certain are you that they are natural? I can't see how either of those are the result of natural processes.

Straight edges can also be a result of erosion, there are many examples of it, sometimes they even create very sharp edges.

I am never certain of anything that I see only on a photo, that's the only thing I am certain about.

But I don't see anything that doesn't look natural, I have seen many Mars photos that show small ridges like that one, like the ones that appear also on Earth, when a slightly harder slab appears above the rest of ground.

First a 'rock' formation, I labelled it the Sculpture - hard to imagine its natural.

It took me some time to find it, but I finally managed to find the photos from the left and right camera, to see if that rock was really just one rock or not.

And it's not.

Now I will look for more.
