The hot weather is being blamed for thousands of fish found dead in a lake on Australia's coastline, as well as the water temperatures in the lake
being hotter than usual, this has also caused oxygen levels to plummet so low that fish species have not been able to escape from these conditions.
Water boils at 212°F or 100 °C. They might of died from oxygen depletion but there is no possible way that at any point that lake was boiling.
