Ants are taking over the earth?

I've noticed lately that there are a lot more ants around than usual. At work, I've noticed more ants and at my house I've noticed more ants. I even saw ants coming out of my gas tank when I was filling it up... I didn't think it was possible for ants to survive in that type of environment?

I asked some friends and co-workers, and to my curiosity, they've also noticed more ants. In fact, I have proof from over 15 people now that ants are more numerous than before.

I'm writing this on ATS to get more insight from people. If you would be so kind, please answer the following questions that I will write later about ants.

I have reason to believe that ants are taking over the earth. These aren't normal ants by far, but to be sure they are nano-tech ants, probably alien probes or self-constructing autonomous ant research vessels put here for a reason.

Please don't be confused. These aren't the ants we know and love (or hate) but are similar, yet different ants. I noticed before that all the ants I saw at work and at home were "ghost" ants, which have white abdomens and move around really really really fast. When I began to notice that the ants were about twice as big, and looking oddly like spiders was when I theorized that these aren't really ants at all, but have replaced the regular ants.

In short, OUR EARTH ants are slowly and methodically being REPLACED BY ALIEN NANO-TECH PROBES!!!!!

For what reason? I'm not sure! The only proof I have is pictures of these ants, but they look pretty must like regular ants and I have reason to believe that whatever sent them here updating the ant page on wikipedia (for one, because that's where every conspiracy theorist gets their info) and other ant research facilities as well.

Has anyone else noticed more ants than before?

It could just be that there has been an increase in numbers of ants in your area.

We always have a lot of fire ants around here. Their sting is very painful and I get bitten several times every summer while gardening. They do seem to have a weird intelligence about them that seems abnormal for a regular ant.

I wage war on them any time I can but it seems useless.

They are also attracted to electricity for some reason and can damage well pumps and other electrical items.

So are you talking about fire ants or the regular black ants? I think our fireants killed off the normal ants a long time ago.

I don't know if they are taking over earth, but they OWN my front porch!
We didn't even know that there were so many until the other day, we were washing down the windows and porch area, after we finished and went into the house I looked back out the door to see our handiwork, and WOW! There were millions of ants all over the porch and everything on it! We had noticed small amount of ants over the summer, and that they are removing the mortar from around the bricks, but had no idea that they were in these numbers.

Hee hee. Alien Nano-Tech Probes. Love it!!

Well, I do have a few ants crawling on my kitchen counters and it's November. Surely not the norm. Hey, though, the aliens gotta do better than this, though. I can squish them with my finger just as easily as real ants. And, also, Windex disables the probes just as easily as it does the real ants.

Opposum probes. That's the answer. Not ant probes. Silly aliens, your ant probes are useless against me and my Windex!!
