I was doing my normal browsing looking for video of UFO sighting and ran across this just posted to MUFON. Due to the clarity of the outline it does not appear to be any plane I am familiar with and is a typical triangle UFO. Anyhow, enjoy and give your opinions.

Nice catch! Personally I've seen V/boomarang ships (one directly over my head and quite detailed) so don't take me as a doubting Thomas but...

I remember a couple of years back the local news helicopter caught something much like this flying through the night sky in the distance. Looked like a sparkling flying saucer. Phage came out of the woodworks and through his brief searching found it was actually an advertising plane flying in the distance. The pilot does this to attract people's attention, which displays the actual advert underneath the plane like a marque. Talk about a deflating moment, but he was absolutely right. Perhaps, this is the same thing/idea?

Based on the ships that I've seen there weren't any flashing points of light, just solid glowing illumination. Once, my wife saw a hazy light flicker, then zig-zag a few times and shot off into the night sky, but it wasn't anything like blinking 'Christmas' like lights. I guess I am being a doubting Thomas afterall. Sorry. Hope I'm horribly mistaken!!

Well, it's definately a UFO. The question now is whether or not it is extraterrestrial or not. I believe that it probably is, but who knows?

Why not.
Is there any indication that the movement was the camera or the UFO.
Naturally I would able to explain how the pilot could survive such movement.

At the start of the video it seems really clear the direction of travel, and then it points it's nose down, comes down in altitude and appears to then bank. That is a very odd movement for an airplane flying IFR to do so close to an airport. The witnesses stated it made no noise which adds speculation, if it is an aircraft did it lose power, which would explain the sudden dip and bank.

I was on my southern approach, flying from Vandenberg to Edwards when he had a power disruption. Had to jettison some Magnesium over Universal City. Returned later to make sure the recovery team was in the correct location.

Great footage!
The people in the video sound genuinely surprised.
Peace

Not to be a doubting thomas either

BUT

This could easily have been done in a dark room with some kids toy or something.

I find that theory a little hard to believe without some really excellent planning and video skills:

1.) If it was done in a darkroom, why would they give us such a clear shot for 10 seconds and then the remaining portion is junk out of focus video?

2.) The guy filming at one point moves some distance to try to get a better shot. The video pans across a wood pillar of some sort which has light reflecting across the wood. If there was a light source in a dark room the room would be lit, including the object being filmed possibly.

3.) The wind in the video sounds real as it blows against the mic.

4.) There is distance in the voices being recorded on the video...one guy sounds like he is a good distance from the camera and another sounds closer. It would have to be a huge room to pull this off.

That makes me think of the Dahl Report:

One of a group of saucers dropped down and had to be
rescued by the actions of another saucer.
A theory on the saucers has the force pulling up against gravity
and can go below to help stabilize another craft.

Hardly visible due to size for linking, which no longer survived the
photographers deletion, are two triangles side by side.
Well, in my opinion of course:

I have no doubt you or any one else might be able.
But lets keep the crowd down to a roar.
I need a good laugh like a new dimension is forming around the lights.
Sure.
And green Aliens are inside cause say you saw them.
Try again.

ED: I think its the camera shaking, so we do not have to explain anything.
Yipee, we are all gonna live.

What would this look like from a distance-far enough away not to hear that annoying buzz?

That was a good one. TR3-B (you knew that was coming...)?
I don't think this one was faked, haha. Not by a long-shot.
Extra Terrestral or government, it's obviously something that the general public doesn't know about.
And in regards to it being government, my case against that is why would they fly their top-secret aircraft in public - especially low enough for people to see it?
Top-secret is called top secret for a reason.
Anyway, awesome footage. Really awesome!

Edit to add: The first "Holy $%t"cracks me up! ROTF

I would have to agree with you...there are no visible green or red flashes on this object. For a plane flying at night, those lights are the most obvious to see. Also, this plane is in violation of FCC regulations flying without those lights. According to the witness, this object came back 5 minutes later briefly.

Interesting footage. It does look real, I wish NASA would seriously have a look at such sightings and acknowledge something is going on!

I think their reactions are genuine but I agree with you this could be a remote control plane with LEDs attached. It's hard to make a call without knowing the size though.

To the OP, can you link to the MUFON report please? It'd be interesting to see if anyone else saw this and also details of where it occurred etc. Thanks.

It reminds me of several UFO's I saw in one beach of Burma. Only the colors of light are different. In my case, it's all red. and they were maneuvering zig zag and then boom ( disappeared ).
