And yet, people call the ones that protest it "teabaggers", a term meant to induce humiliation. They are, in fact, playing right into the governments hands by supporting that, and removing the will of the people through shame and humiliation, to stand up for what they believe in.

Thank heavens, it is not working!

Well that's a load off my mind, now that I don't have to do that pesky thinking for myself.

Up till now I was of the opinion that Health Care reform was a good thing. But seeing as how your doing the thinking for everyone I guess that opinion of mine was wrong.

Thinking for yourself?...

The Democrats/Progressives don't want you to think, or to choose for yourself.....

After all even Michelle Obama stated that "Barack is not going to allow Americans to return to their normal lives"......

Ever travel in West Virginia?

But the big question is ... Why not?

I know many people that have, perhaps it is the individual and not the system?

Now that would make sense even to Einstein...

The only people that do that are illegals, the legal residents, and American citizens have to pay the bill which DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR TAXES....

What WILL increase your taxes, among other things, is the Obama care healthcare plan that just passed....

BTW, it is nice to see the other thread was moved into the "political madeness forum" where all the "plague, and disease (anything that is critical of the Obama administration policies) is being controlled" and those who participate in such activity (of protest) are humilliated by being called as "part of the plague and disease."

Phew the Democrat/Progressive/Communist paid activists couldn't have done any better.

Your assertions are patently ridiculous.

I voted for this... I wrote to my congressmen and women... I thought for myself.

Hour after hour of hearing you berate it, I still thought for myself.

As an employer who has seen costs skyrocket and restrictions increase over the past 6 years I thought about how we could possibly deal with the future. In doing so... I thought for myself.

As a person who has family everywhere being threatened with health care crisis'... I thought for myself.

Just because you disagree with me doesn't mean that you weren't thinking for yourself either.

Riiiiight... that's why the current administration has passed Compulsory Community Service, taking away the right of parents, and in general Americans on their right to choose whether they should, or should not do Mandatory Community Service...

That's why among other things this bill REQUIRES doctors to do as the STATE/Government mandates, and only the STATE/government decides whether a patient should have treatment, or an operation, or whether they should keep taking the pill as president Obama himself has stated...

That's why you MUST have healthcare... That is certainly a CHOICE according to you right?....

Individuals. Individuals are required to obtain health insurance coverage or pay a fee equal to lower of 2.5 percent of their adjusted income above the filing threshold or the average premium on the Exchange. Individuals and families below the income tax filing are exempt.

www.heritage.org...

Yep, you have the CHOICE to MUST HAVE insurance.... I guess that's a choice according to people like you.

................

Nope, it is the plain fact that the United States is the country where EVERYONE who lives in a nation with SOCIALIZED healthcare comes to every time their SOCIALIZED healthcare doesn't cover certain treatments, and operations....

So why is it that several people from SOCIALIZED healthcare nations come to the U.S. for medical treatment?....

This is part of the reason why many of us don't want SOCIALIZED healthcare...then we become like "everyone else", and the U.S. REPUBLIC was not founded by the forefathers just to be like "everyone else"......

I am not devoting 8 years of my life to college and medical school, with another 8 years in the Army for this. If things pan out how I think they will, I will find a way to practice either outside the country or in my own private practice. This is ridiculous and will only hurt doctors and the people themselves from the lower quality of care that will inevitably follow. People are so stupid sometimes, honestly.

Is this the bill that had some reference to having an RFID device implanted in the draft a while back? I remember it refered to it just after page 1000.

If if is, I hope they removed that bit.

Those of you who are happy this bill passed should be ashamed of yourselves. If you think this bill is in the best interests of the American people you are sadly mistaken. This was a major coup for the insurance industry, who will get BILLIONS in additional insurance premiums, and who are not constrained to keep their rates low...they will raise their rates, and the American public will be paying MUCH MORE for health care than before. Grats. You and your fellow Socialists have just screwed the Nation royally.

What we are really doing by voting this bill in is attempting to kick start the economy, again ! We as a nation have lost our way ! We have politically
corrected ourselves into a deep hole. So we ....Print money and lots of it !
Where better to infuse this money ? In a massive new program ! Corporations use similar techniques by way of derivatives ! The Ignorance of the greatest
nation of "free" people allow this. Shame on the Dems for not being "transparent" and shame on the repubs for not thinking forward !

i think any federal elected congressman that did not vote for this, have their government healthcare immediately stripped away. since their incomes are in the top 5%, they have the means to go on the open market and buy their own. i'm tired, as a taxpayer, to give tax money to these people, to support their own healthcare needs. if they are unable to stand on their own 2 feet and pay their own way, how is it that they expect the rest of us making far less income to do the same.
plus...no more money for free car usage, free or subsidized meals, and all pension money must go into those wonderful 401k accounts.
when you are in the top 5% income backet, stand on your own, just like the rest of us have to do, no more welfare payments.

H.R. 1388 did that. The Democrats and President Obama signed and passed this into law giving "the Corporation" power to start a citizen verification microchip program. Alongside the power over education and both mandatory and voluntary community service.

In that bill they also leave open the fact that they want to make MANDATORY all Community Service...

But hey, there are those who claim this administration is giving choices and freedom to the people.....

Interesting that many here are forgetting the main and most important thing with the now two bills in congress.

First of all is had trillions of dollars attach to it

Second it takes away from the elderly on Medicare and Medicaid on a system that is bankrupted

Meaning the bills will finish bankrupt the reminding tax payers in the nation.

The biggest and most important thing is that both bills been passed by the House and to go in to the Senate Are unconstitutional with the mandates to force tax payer to buy private insurance

Wake up people is not about abortions here anymore or government run health care is about the biggest unconstitutional mandate to force people into supporting private entities that will be dictating with their crap the health care you will have and the government is giving them the blessing and rights to turn the tax payer into servants.

I can read polls, and the majority of Americans don't want this.

Yes you are correct. The majority of Americans have already figured out this is another SCAM that is going to cost them big bucks.

With Obama's Eugenics and Mass Sterilization Advisor Holdren, and a government panel who will now determine what healthcare we get. We have figured out that to keep the books balanced care for the USELESS EATERS will be cut.

Take a look at IMF/World Bank SAP programs, the WTO "Food safety bills" and it is real obvious those in power have no use for the dirty masses unless they can make money off them. The bankers just stripped the saved assets from the baby boomers thanks to the housing bubble/bust now they want to get rid of them. The healthcare bill is just the ticket.

I can say this much. I will not pay any fine. I will not be forced into this & if they put me in jail, so be it. Maybe if this horrid government locks up enough hard-working Americans, stay at home mom's/dad's, unemployed people struggling to stay afloat, then maybe people will start to see what this really is. This is Obama & his henchwoman Pelosi saying "Welcome to Obamland. We own your a**, so just deal with it.."

I just finished telling my hubby he can visit me in jail I am not paying this.

Like you I have not had health Insurance and years and pay my own way.

Sadly I think you are right, get rid of the pesky elderly while cutting their health care and increasing their medication bills, they will die faster of "natural causes".

Strip the baby boomer's of their life savings and force the reminding tax payers to pay for the bail of the same corrupted institutions that rob their life savings

After all they will be heading for the bankrupted social security and bankrupted Medicare and we can not have them getting rewarded for the hard work they has done all their adult lives.

America the free and the land of opportunities no more, now you will belong to the banking institutions to suck you dry and soon to the insurance companies in the nation by mandate.
