Unfortunately, the only way I see war ending forever would have to be us(human race) literally taken to the brink. Whether it's a WW3 type scenario or a large asteroid type object colliding with the earth, TRUE peace will only happen when it's our only choice left.

I feel we are about to wake up one morning soon and find out Israel has invaded Iran. To what extent will they invade Iran? And all or nothing approach(nuclear) from Israel is certainly an option. Will this be the spark to ignite the world into a global conflict? Some people think so...I think the oppurtunity is certainly there. The way the world is on edge lately, anything could happen.

What makes you assume that the "human race" is solely responsible for conflict. I mean, you don't find it suspicious that so many people in the United States think that it's ok to pre-emptively nuke Iran, even though they've never attacked us? What do you think it takes to get people to think like this?

Their options are limited. Their antiquated F-16 can't fly low with the MANPADS and anti aircraft artilery waiting for them. They can try flying high, but we're talking Iranian home turf! The Iranian airforce isn't exactly a pushover. Considering the Israeli planes will have limited fuel, limited missles, limited bombs, and limited everything... eventually they're going to run out of everything. Even after laying their chemical weapons on the ground and dropping their bombs, how do they exit? This is especially true for targets deep within Iran.

On top of all that, the retaliation would be intense, even with Iran's conventional weapons. Iran could take Afghanistan in no time at all (their military is bogus, and not too many American troops), and Iraq is very vulnerable.

In the end, according to John Titor, the Middle East invades Israel, and Israel responds with nuclear weapons.

I agree that we will one day soon, wakeup to the news of Israel bombing and or conducting limited ground strikes against targets in Iran.
The leader of the nation of Iran, its Mullahs, officers in its military have all called for the destruction of Israel.
IMO if I were Israel I would take these people at their word and do whatever it took to keep Iran from developing a nuclear capability. This is a matter of survival, not agression or expansion.

The very fact that Iran (as a nation) would cheer its president when calling for wiping Israel off the face of the earth, negates any arguement that Iran is a nation that can be trusted by the rest of the world to have such wmds.
