This elementary school actually changed its name to "Barack Obama Elementary" after the election, and today an Obama praise music video is making news (amongst many other new ones). But the real mind job is actually when you listen to the lyrics in the slideshow presentation page at the schools website:

rrobin.com...

The song is "Now & Forever", by Carole King. Lyrics as follows:

Now and forever, you are a part of me
And the memory cuts like a knife
Didn't we find the ecstasy, didn't we share the daylight
When you walked into my life

Now and forever, I'll remember
All the promises still unbroken
And think about all the words between us
That never needed to be spoken

We had a moment, just one moment
That will last beyond a dream, beyond a lifetime
We are the lucky ones
Some people never get to do all we got to do
Now and forever, I will always think of you

Didn't we come together, didn't we live together
Didn't we cry together
Didn't we play together, didn't we love together
And together we lit up the world

I miss the tears, I miss the laughter
I miss the day we met and all that followed after
Sometimes I wish I could always be with you
The way we used to do
Now and forever, I will always think of you
Now and forever, I will always be with you

Note the shirts in the photos which appears to be school issued... er wait... you cant name a school without its name being seen all day everyday on countless bits of school schwag.

More about the school and the music video(s) here:
www.prisonplanet.com...

C'mon Democrat's, think back to when you surely were aghast watching all the Bush worshipping maniacs. This is no different than the Jesus Camp footage of the kids and the Bush cardboard cutout. At least the Jesus Camp had a sort of sick comedy to it, but this lovesong example is disgusting on a whole other level.

Ok, so my editing in that clip is pretty dramatic, but man those school music videos are 'government run' per say. And half the kids out there cant even read anymore, how do the schools have time to teach how to make music (including rap) videos?

First post in a long time, but I have to say, even though I am a huge Barack Obama fan, really we would be freaking out if this happened under Bush's watch. That being said, so far Obama hasn't led thousands of soldiers to their death in an unjustified war, so I kinda get the Bush hatred, my hopefully soon to be stepson just left for the Army today, and I pray that Obama ends this needless war. I am just saying, this song and changing of school name is just silly.

why do you focus this at all of the democrats. there wasnt some secret committee held where all registered democrats showed up to decide that this song should be made.

send an email to the school or teacher or whoever was responsible. blaming an entire political party is nonsense.

on a side note, parents would almost certainly been notified about it beforehand. if they didnt want their children involved they couldve stopped them from being in it.

on a second side note, the song on the slideshow is good, but i dont see any immediate connection to obama

I can understand the excitement over the first man, of African descent being elected as President of the United States, but this goes a bit too far. The Jesus Camp, that I can understand, as they are in a place where such is acceptable, but to just go outright and sing praises, as well as, changing the name of a school to Barak H. Obama, is taking this way over board, especially as this is his first year in office. I do not agree with some of the policies or the advisors that is whispering into his ear, or some of the political underhandness of his adminstration. I can admire that he is the first to break a glass ceiling, but it stops there until after he has had 4 years in office and to see what his actual accomplishments have been. I was not happy with Bush Jr, and had hoped for change that the current President has stated, but from what I have seen, he is failing in a few aspects that I was hoping he would excell in.

The Narcissist must be worshipped or he gets angry. I would love to know what kind of extra stimulus this particular school received from their Messiah. I would have yanked my kids right out of there.

You totally missed... all my points. To your first point, my comments were a rally cry for anti-indoctrination outrage over all this like I witnessed when the Jesus Camp film released.

Second, follow up on my links and witness all the music video propaganda.

Third, no obama?

Mmmmm, chock full of Alex Jones-y bullcrap. I feel fertilized!

This is the actual website of the school in question: www.hempsteadschools.org...

You'll notice that there's no theme song. Nor any adulation. It's just a school that the students voted to have named "Barack Obama Elementary" which I find no more bothersome than "Ronald Reagan High School", "Eisenhower Elementary", or "Clinton Elementary".

Not that facts have ever stopped Alex Jones before.
At least he's an equal-opportunity ignoramus.

And as for the comparison to the Bush-worshipping video from Jesus Camp... You're trying to conflate naming a school after a sitting president with worshiping the president as god incarnate. There's a big difference!

Um, Alex Jones didnt point out the song, I did. Is the song bullcrap? Can you find the music video on the homepage? If not, does it still not speak to how school resources are being used to propagandistically drive such madness? Were you there when the children supposidly came up with the idea on their own for the rapid fire name change? DO we actually know whose idea it was? Are not every person supporting that venture drippingly engaging in self-brainwashing? How soon after those presidents were 'elected' did the schools rename themselves? What would you have said if the same would have happened while it was Bush, for Bush?

Was the schools you named built new and then named that, or were they existing schools, already bearing the name of another do-gooder, knee-jerk disbanded?

And then you link to Prison Planet, which is, obviously, Alex Jones' bullhockey. says so at every page header

Obviously I can't, since I posted the webpage of Barack Obama Elementary (formerly Ludlum Elementary) and pointed out that there is no theme song.

Considering your only evidence of this happening is a song you claim comes from a school that actually has no perceivable ties to said song, backed up by a kook like Alex Jones (Yeah, how many ameros did those shoes cost, hombre?), I think you still have a lot empty space in your big box o' proof.

Were you there when the children supposidly came up with the idea on their own for the rapid fire name change? DO we actually know whose idea it was?

I was not, but there's plenty of coverage of it. Do you know how to use search engines? ("Barack Obama Elementary" + Google) x Time = information.

Are not every person supporting that venture drippingly engaging in self-brainwashing?

Am not your grammars is make head of mine be hurtingly ouched?

Oi. Okay, to answer your question? No. There's a difference between being happy that your guy won (or for some of my fellow democrats, settling for the fact the other guy lost) and "drippingly engaging in self-brainwashing."

How soon after those presidents were 'elected' did the schools rename themselves? What would you have said if the same would have happened while it was Bush, for Bush?

I honestly wouldn't care. It may surprise you but, renaming a school doesn't send spooky mind-rays into kids' heads and suddenly turn them into propaganda-bots. You have to be around adult age for propaganda to really sink in anyway - kids are notorious for bucking authority! An adult, properly conditioned into the sense that tgthere are better, more important people thna himself (the boss, the landlord, the politician, the police officer) is much more malleable to propaganda.

Indoctrinating a kid just means you have a pet parrot that is going to end up going feral in a few years and biting the crap out of your face.

Okay, seriously, could you rephrase this in a way that a speaker of any Indo-european language group could understand?

How amusing this is, it being obvious that you're trying to parallel me as some backwards redneck. If you had any idea. For all you know I'm some asian (like your gfx) using odd language (aka online language where youre not obsessed with not giving a desperate debater some ad hominem material maniac somewhere to go).

So because its Prison Planet the content is therefore false? Those videos are all fabrications? Do you know what ad hominem means?

posted the webpage of Barack Obama Elementary (formerly Ludlum Elementary) and pointed out that there is no theme song.

First off, I never said the song in the video or slideshow was a "theme" song. Are you suggesting that the music video and the slideshow arent the product of the school in question???? Are the pictures not from said school? Did Infowars get some 'real' pictures and make a FAKE slideshow, or did renegada parents do it, since obviously according to your statements the pictures are fakes? Maybe Alex paid a bunch of minorities to wear the school issue looking shirts, and then fabricated the entire rest of the music video assortment?

Are not every person supporting that venture drippingly engaging in self-brainwashing?

Am not your grammars is make head of mine be hurtingly ouched?

Nice ad hominem dodge of my question.

There's a difference between being happy that your guy won (or for some of my fellow democrats, settling for the fact the other guy lost) and "drippingly engaging in self-brainwashing."

If you were competent for this discussion you'd understand that picking a social side, EMOTIONALLY, and then engaging in daily worship reinforement RITUALS is in fact self-indoctrination, aka 'brainwashing'.

How soon after those presidents were 'elected' did the schools rename themselves? What would you have said if the same would have happened while it was Bush, for Bush?

I honestly wouldn't care.

You should, it seriously measures the weight of your best arguments in all of this.

My problem with these kind of antics is that you're using them to bash Barack Obama.

He didnt tell this school to do this, they took it upon themselves.

Come down hard on the schools, don't turn it into tit-for-tat in a political sense.

Thats just silly.
