LOng LOng time learker sometimes poster. Delite this if you want mods just my 2 cents.
anyway MABBY I dont WANT my browser redirected .
Adverts are one thing but theres so manny and they cause so manny browser errors that at times i have to use task manager to end program as all this sites
pages will do is auto click over and over and over to the point it frezzes my pc.
i SHUT down popups if i want to buy some junk ill go to a web site to get it.
tell your sponsers we KNOW how to use a mouse .
Ps fully expect to have this post delited and nore do i expect you to accutly care enough about the members to think of our issues.

Sounds like you've got some sort of virus or spyware on your PC my friend, as I am having no problems at all with pop-ups or redirecting pages from this site.

I suggest you run a decent virus and spyware removal software (personal favourites are AVG and Spy-bot, but that's just me). Failing that, get a better browser that has pop-up blocking facilities. I would suggest Firefox or Google Chrome.

The site itself is fine.

Yep, I am at work using an ancient ver. of IE and still no problem, let me guess, the browser is redirecting you to a porn site?

Agreed! I use a firefox addon called no script so you only get the things you allow to load.

Another program I use for spyware in Malwarebytes. It's free and pretty darn good.

This is not a virus on his computer.

Have you ever noticed how if you have multiple tabs open, they reload for a second about every 30-45 seconds?

That's ATS putting different ads on the pages.

Every once in a while THERE IS A REDIRECT, AND EVEN REDIRECTS TO REPORTED ATTACK SITES!

This is complete bull, ATS has done EVERYTHING they can to squeeze every ounce of money out of this website.

Remember, money corrupts, and you always want more...

I believe this site is now nothing but a large commercial for the next video game or horror movie.

It's sad really.

EDIT TO ADD: Before I get guff, I know it's not ATS redirecting us to attack sites, it's the ad companies they are using. ATS wouldn't want us leaving the site.

Run a full scan on your system. then post the log file here ATS Malware Report Form ATS Tech people will then review your scan log.

If you encounter what you believe to be malicious code on an ATS page or delivered by one of our advertising networks, please use this form to give us the details we need to troubleshoot the problem.

Please include a brief description of the kind of alert you received.

Paste the specific log or URL information from your malware-prevention software that includes IP or Internet domain of the potential attack (malware reports without this information typically cannot be investigated).

If you believe the potential malware came from an advertisement, please include either the URL of the ad or link to a screen shot (uploaded to our media portal).

When you help us by providing as much information as possible, we will do our best to identify the source, and have it removed from ATS as quickly as possible. Without this minimum information, there's very little we can do other than track the frequency of potential complaints.

As I have previously stated, I am not getting this problem from here at work (Also ancient IE) or from home using Google Chrome, so the problem must be with the OP's PC.

If it is not a virus or malware, then you need to set your browser to automatically block pop-ups and scripts. This will prevent any ads from redirecting you. This can be done in the options/preferences area of your browser's security settings. You should be able to set it to ask before allowing pop-ups or scripts to run.

Is this better than Spybot? Spybot is good, but it can really slow down your system if you're multi-tasking and I find I have to disable it if I want to burn media discs, otherwise they skip when played back.

I haven't used Spybot in a few years but I really like the way Malwarebytes scans. you can run both a quick scan or full scan. It will bog down your machine a bit but it has never failed to find all the bad stuff.

Try this.

my computer > c: > windows > system32 > drivers > etc

You will see "hosts"

Rename it to "hosts.txt" then open it.

You should see "127.0.0.1" localhost

If there is anything beneath that, delete it. Then save the file as "hosts2.txt" in the same folder. Delete "hosts.text", then rename the second one you created to take it's place.
