I thought I would post this as it's had me wondering for a while now. It's about the new Pepsi logo and the Obama logo.

Below is a comparison of the two logo's. On the left is the Obama Administrations logo, on the right is the new Pepsi logo. Look similar?

To me, they look incredibly similar. Could this have been an attempt at subliminal messaging?

I thought I would rotate the pepsi logo, to see if things would align a bit more. Now this is quite bizarre....

You think Obama wants everyone to drink pepsi?

Seriously though, I do find this interesting. And funny.

The Obama logo looks more like the 'Rising Sun' (Rising son) - According to Jordan Maxwell it's the day of the new dawn - and that's the term they keep using. Watch Jordan's latest amazing interview with Project Camelot about the Rising Sun symbology!

Being a graphic designer, I can tell you that we see this type of plagiarism all the time... as they say, "there is nothing new under the sun"... which brings me to my next point...

There are two ways you can read the symbology of this 'logo', depending of course on whether you're a 'cup is half empty' or 'cup is half full' person.

Some would suggest that it symbolizes a 'New Dawn' on America... but of course, there are those of you out there that would suggest that it's indicative of the sun 'Going Down' on America.

Personally I would agree with the later.

Is the imagery also socialistic? I'll reserve my opinion and leave that for you to decide!

"Work those fields comrades... work those fields!"

Blame it on the graphic design firm. Obama had nothing to do with the creation of the logo. His PR people did.......

Pepsi Piggybacked on the Obama logo back during the election when Obama was popular.

Yes...striking similarities

Red, white, and blue...both are circular...and in order to get one to kind of resemble the other, you had to rotate it

Obama is from America...Pepsi is from America (i'd guess thats why the Red White and Blue)

Pepsi has had these colors for as long as i can remember

If pepsi's old colors were green, yellow, and blue, then i'd say you are onto something here.

I think you're reaching here...
though that is just my opinion

Ha. We bought a case of Pepsi last week where one side was pink for breast cancer awareness month with the word HOPE in the middle and that Pepsi logo forming the "O" in HOPE.

I didn't think anything of it when I bought it, just shoved it under the cart and put it on a shelf when I got home. Just a few days ago I took it down to put some in the fridge, saw it and said "What the...?" It was that easy to make the connection.

Yeah because Obama invented the word "hope" right?

And there is zero correlation between the ideal of "hope" and a breast cancer victim.

Wow. I wonder what its like to live in such a deduced world.

I think that's pretty funny. It's obvious that Pepsi wants to be the Obama Kool-aid and "tapped into" his logo. That's advertising!

If you look at it from a memetics point of view

The logo is brand recognition -- Its the reason why store brands dont sell as much as brands with recognizable logo's or characters

I wonder if there is some sort of underlying recognition type thing going on right under (or perhaps above) our noses

New Pepsi Logo

Is it just me, or do those logos look like they want to vote for Obama?

Many many companies use circular logos. There is a psychological reason for it. They are timeless, worldly and eternal. Obama and Pepsi could be accussed of ripping off Korean Air, or a hundered other companies.

If you look at car manufacturers, the majority of logos are circles.

More evidence that people of a certain mindset will find evil and conspiracy and socialism in whatever they view, as long as that's what they want to see.
