Who really cares about what the CFR thinks about anything?
If you work in this town (DC) you know they are a second rate think tank. They have no control, they have no power. This is a group of inside the beltway intellectuals talking (basically) over tea.
They're annoying faux-intellectuals, but not more than that, so feel free to ignore these dumb___ blowhards mouthing off.
In the end, all of this chatter about H1N1 is just that: chatter.
I really don't understand why everyone is getting worked up... get the shot, don't get the shot. Whatever! I mean it's already November. Inoculation season is almost over, Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner, and guess what, if you don't want to get the shot you don't have to.
If you think it puts your kids at risk don't do it. Sheesh.
I know lots of parents who have thoughtfully negotiated this minefield. We, chose to get shots, no big deal, our kids have never gotten sick, ill, shown side effects and it gives us a sense that we're doing right by our kids (our family call, not yours, so don't mouth off on my choices, it's a free country).
Most parents we know have made a decision (like we have) that this vaccine will keep their kids from getting sick. And from what I've read it probably will. For other parents we know, they have either chosen not to get the shot or worked hard to find places that are giving out non-thimerosol shots. So, honestly , it's all about choices, options and being smart, and guess what no-ones forcing you here.
Finally, the US govt. can't do conspiracy. Never has been able to.
But I will say this. Big pharma has taken advantage of the constant feed cycle of the cable news networks to hype the concern. I also think the CDC will always err on the side of caution when urging people to get vaccinated. Those two things lead to the kind of news explosion that you see. It's not a govt. run thing, it's just the nature of cable news.

Typical, move along nothing to see here. CFR doesn't mean anything. Bilderwho? Who cares? Government cares about us, big pharm is just looking out for people's welfare .... people never conspire for power or money .... blah blah blah.

Sure your not a disinfo agent?

What about these PROVEN U.S. government conspiracy's?

Tuskegee Syphilis Study, Project MKULTRA, Operation Ajax, Gulf of Tonkin incident.

Those are just a few for starters you can read about many more here:

CONSPIRACY THEORIES THAT TURNED OUT TO BE TRUE

Anyone who would try to tell others that our government cannot do conspiracy's is either a disinfo agent, a liar, or purposely has their head buried in the sand.

Which are you?

I've actually often wondered about someone creating a "false shortage" to make the vaccine seem more appealing.

To play devil's advocate, the powers that be would want people to get the vaccine so an outbreak wouldn't take place. There isn't necessarily a malevolent reason for them wanting us to take it.

But I strongly disagree with any manipulation of the public.

It's comments like this that show up sites like this. Frankly my friend I hope you get your behind kicked by a mod.
Grow up and realise that people are entitled to their opinions without stupid accusations from people who open their mouths before engaging their brains.

Why am I not surprised...

In a ideal world, this would be all over the news media. In this world, it never will.

He stated governments cannot do conspiracy's and I proved him wrong.

IMO he is either a disinfo agent, lying, or ignorant. (notice the IMO, is means It's my opinion)

Wouldn't my statement also be an opinion?

You chastise me for not letting people have their opinions and then shoot down my opinion in the same breath.

You also levy an ad hominem attack on me by telling me to grow up insinuating I'm a child, but that's okay I don't mind because yes everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Who is the one not engaging their brain here before spouting off?

I was thinking the same thing about scarcity. It really does strange things to people. The Wii is a perfect example. Even people that didn't want one suddenly wanted one. If you ever saw one on a self early on, you'd be nuts not to buy one no matter who you are.

Same thing happened with toilet paper I read. An article said that the military was running low on TP, some other news station reported that there was a "TP shortage", people ran out to buy TP, it actually created a TP shortage.

So you make the shot seem really rare, get it in the news, all the sudden 10 quadrillion fall from the sky, everyone will take it.

Well that answers my questions at work.

I work at the local clinic where I live.( I now sounds stupid but I can't think any other way to say it.)

You see we have 5 rooms full of H1N1 vaccine box's and the local news stations are saying we a low. I know for a fact we have most of the town vaccinated. I should know I do the paper work here.

Also side not good thing of being the paper work guy here no one will argue with you on your own paper.

This is rather rural town in Texas. So for the news to be wrong is odd but to flat out lie is astonishing. To bad I can't prove it.

Is the original broadcast available. The linked video is obviously a compilation of events, and you really can't comment on the actual discussion without hearing it in it's entirety. I agree it starts off very patronising with the "intelligent audience" remark, but if the conference was recorded that is what we should be listening to, and not this video compilation. There are too many things not right about the whole swine 'flu scenario, but no harm to the OP, this video does not help either way. A full conscript of the conference would be better.

it certainly was odd to read the above post from the guy working in a clinic and then immediately overhear a television ad in the next room for a news report to air at 10, it's a local ABC station in PA

the announcer said "why is the government relying on just one manufacturer when the drug used to treat swine flu in children is running low. find out at 10".

I have an aunt who works in a hospital, I've got to talk to her and find out how their supplies are...

As far as I know the UK has bought Celvapan and Pandemrix in equal numbers. Curiously enough the policy philosophy was for 'flu vaccines at the ratio for two for each person ..a coincidence maybe, but it seems the actual use for Celvapan is more restricted anyway. The supply will most likely be computer monitored as well, but there should be no shortage in the UK, that's if you want any of the stuff at all.

was it this thread where someone mentioned that when the initial recommendation was dropped from two to one doses, that effectively doubled the supply, and was more than enough for the entire population?

also, someone mentioned elsewhere that the WHO changed the recommendation on its site for children under 10 from two to one doses, and now to NO doses due to unknown immunogenicity effects....

will see if I can find that.

should have salubrious effects on the problem of low supplies, no?

I mustve missed this discussion at the cooler because Ive never heard such a thing. Regardless of where youre from, groups like CFR, Trilateral, Bilderbrg, etc, are equally secretive, equally denied, and equally NOT covered by any kind of local media. In fact I believe most of these men and women actually spend more time New York than they do here. What you and I know, we learned from the same sources a person from England did.

To answer your question, read the OP. They are all liars, They are all rich, they are all connected, and they were speaking about how to SELL us vaccinations.

BTW I would LOVE to know how you came up with a post like that.

yeah I think the "cfr has no real power" meme was intiated as a smokescreen of sorts...I mean, the membership alone speaks volumes

HAHA, this is getting to be so funny to me anymore, because the more they speak where other people can HEAR THEM, the more they give themselves away!!

I would have liked to have heard the entire audio for that CFR meeting though. Good post.

Indeed dude. I believe all of us are crazy!!! HAHA!

The H1N1 Vaccine is pure bad news. It is simply not something that should be taken.

Oh and I should mention that the people in power plan on taking a different vaccine!!!! That is a red flag right there if I ever saw one.

I know I'm not taking that H1N1 vaccine. Mortality rate for swine flu is lower than regular flu, yet they call it a "pandemic". If people would learn have some common sense, plots like that wouldn't work.
