Fire set at structure housing remains of WTC victims

A smouldering fire was discovered Saturday (10/31) at a temporary structure
housing remains of WTC victims from 9/11. The fire damaged mementos and
candles in the building, but did not harm the remains stored there. The remains
are being housed in the building for DNA analysis and to be incorporated into a
future memorial at the WTC site.

A suspect, Brian Schroeder, turned himself into NYPD and FDNY Fire Marshalls.
